So the idea occurred to me that a supporting character in my story might be a high-functioning autistic, and then I went reading up on it and realized I tick off almost the whole checklist. I then took an online autism test run by a psychiatric association and scored very high probability (like, almost as high as possible).

I mean, it's not like "official" or anything, but if this was true, it would actually explain a lot of things.
