I think my favorite description of any Batman suit was when regwec said that the arkham city suit was reminiscent of a shaved silverback gorilla, so brutally accurate

That still tickles my funny bone to this day

Less than 2 weeks from now it's opening night for a play I'm starring in; but I had already planned ski holiday with the family for this week.

The director was freaking out a little bit about it and asked me to be very careful and not get hurt (I guess you could call it a very "physical" part).

First day of ski holiday; I have a bad fall and hurt my shoulder, now I can't raise my arm.

FML :csad:

I hope everything goes well for you bro! I'll be praying!

This reference to the Nolan Batsuits is my personal favorite from him. :yay:

I would say that, whether there is to be a total redesign of the suit or not, there are three things that just have to be improved;

1) The chunky bobble head, which is exacerbated by the tiny mouth opening.

2) The messy and confusing brassiere/invisible Bat symbol chest area.

3) The truly absurd jigsaw legs. I don't know if they had the work experience boy design that area, but he should have been given the lash if so.

Yeah I love it too.

BTW I just realised how much of Marvel fanboy I was as a kid. I used to love all the animated shows, Silver Surfer, Fantastic 4, X-Men, Spider-man(my fav out of the bunch).

How times change!! However, I havent seen those shows for such a long time. Would love to check them out again.

I was a huge fan of X-Men and F4 when I was a kid. Used to love X-Men as a team much more than Justice League! I remember how excited my brother and I were while watching the live-action movies! Probably the best childhood experiences we've had together! Sadly, most of the shows stopped airing and I gradually lost complete touch with Marvel characters. TAS did not interest me and I never cared for the MCU even from the beginning.

I kind of stopped caring about Superheroes until my brother narrated Injustice story to me, and after giving Man of Steel another chance on blu-ray, I started revisiting all the TV shows and animated movies that I missed. Made my hype go all the way up for Batman v Superman! Good days those were! :)

So Im curious now. Which Batman suit does Regwec truly like?

No Spoilers.

Well after 8 and a half episodes I can easily say that Iron Fist is the worst MCU Netflix show. Finn Jones is incredibly bland, looks poor when he's doing some of the fight scenes and Danny Rand isn't a very interesting character as written. None of the characters are exactly amazing. The biggest problem is that the plot is mostly bland and the villain is just dull as dishwater. Also the show looks like the cheapest looking one yet.

Y'all should watch Oasis. It's a good pilot (high production value, interesting premise). Antje Traue is in it playing a human this time (all around great cast). If you like it vote for it.

There's no point to me posting this, other than it's my single favourite moment from Man of Steel. The delivery from Jor El "You can save her Kal, you can save all of them" and then the way Superman takes off. It's just so hnnngh!

Just watched "The Amazing Spider-Man" on telly. Man, I love that movie. Such a shame all that talent is now gone. There's a new Spidey movie coming out this year and I'm completely indifferent to it.

Yeah it's fantastic, I think it's a shame what happened with the sequel because I felt it betrayed the first one in almost every way (although it wasn't as bad oh my second watch).

I'm the same on the new one, I don't hold much interest in it (although tbh my interest in the MCU as a whole is disapating). But my issue with the new Spidey more stems from my love of Garfield so much. Aswell as Emma Stone as Gwen Stacey, I kinda feel like we've been robbed of at least one more adventure (even if ASM2 did disappoint me).

I've lost a lot of my interest in Spider-Man over the years. I have little enthusiasm as of now for the next one. Maybe it will increase as we get closer.

What are amazon pilots and why do we have to vote for them?

Garfield was fantastic. Kinda ticked that Peter is 30 years younger than Tony. Stupid IMO.

In the comics, I always enjoyed Peter during his college or post-graduate years. He was an adult but still young enough to have relatable problems.

Democracy at work my man. Every year Amazon drops some hot fire pilots of shows they might be interested in funding. We, the customers, watch these hot fire shows and vote for them to be picked up as full blown shows by Amazon. Shows that get enough votes get picked up.

Wha?...

There have been plenty spy parodies.

There have indeed, many of'em quite successful; but I'm talking specifically about Archer; I don't think it would translate well to live action.

Nice. What happens to the shows that dont get picked up...they dont continue at all?

Nope. They go off to great big TV heaven in the sky until they get reincarnated in another pilot or premise that works and appeals to us fickle voters.

Like tears in the rain. :csad:
On the sunny side, the best of the best tend to get series pickup.
Man in the High Castle and Sneaky Pete, for example.

Thanks brother! :woot:

Have you seen the pilot for Jean-Claude Van Johnson?? So good! I'm still waiting for the full season... :hmr:

Oh no. Now I am feeling like a moral obligation to watch one of those shows and vote :(
Fiiiine I'll do it.
