Yeah, I was trying to wait until that stuff blew over.
BTW I just realised how much of Marvel fanboy I was as a kid. I used to love all the animated shows, Silver Surfer, Fantastic 4, X-Men, Spider-man(my fav out of the bunch).
How times change!! However, I havent seen those shows for such a long time. Would love to check them out again.
I think
Silver Surfer might be better than most of the other ones, when I saw the pilot a few years back I really liked it, but then I jumped to the season/series finale and didn't like that last episode.
I'm a fan of
Iron Man, but to me, none of his solo shows are good, the best shows he's been in are
Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes and
The Superhero Squad Show.
Fantastic Four has a cringeworthy first season, an improvement in the second season, but with bad voice acting.
The Incredible Hulk first season is somewhat solid, if not for rushing 40 minutes worth of plot by squeezing them into 20 minutes instead, and voice acting is cringeworthy.
X-Men's voice acting sounds like the actors tried hard to sound autistic when playing not autistic characters,
Wolverine and
Professor X are the worst of the lot.
Catherine Disher and
Alyson Court gave a solid delivery in
Resident Evil games, but they were terrible with
X-Men, and I think I'll blame the voice director for that cause the
X-Men voice actors did a good job when they delivered in Spider-Man.
As for
Spider-Man cartoon of the same era, it's honestly the best of the bunch when it comes to voice acting, but it is the biggest sinner in squeezing stories, stock footage, size inconsistencies, lame downgrade of villains, overuse of
Kingpin....
