I live in Kansas City, so there's never a wait here haha
Must be nice. Here in the DC area there are always lines for free screenings no matter how random the movie, lol.

Oh, Gugu.

More beautiful and talented than a Jlaw. You can outperform a Chastain with the same material, but these bastahs only give you half of their opportunities.

Why must they choose bland vanilla and avoid the mocha?

Hey, what's with the hate for King Arthur?

Guy Ritchie's a great director, and the movie looks like a raucous good time.

That Injustice 2 Brainiac trailer looks like it could be something for JL2.

Just a reminder!

Mah boy Hunter still keeps updating the hnnngh thread.

If you are a member, make sure to contriubute.

I started a HNnnnngh gif thread.

You know, I've gotta be honest. I'm ashamed to say but this is something that I just haven't thought about. When was the last time a non-caucasian actress was given the same amount of respect/fame/roles as her caucasian counterparts? The only person that comes to mind is Halle Berry, but she's been outta the game a while now.

Yea, I don't get it either. Maybe people think Ritchie's style is a bad fit for something as "classical" as legend of Arthur, I don't share that opinion, but we'll see. Like what's with that huge battle elephant in Brittain? Hehe. Plus it seems like Jude Law will be great in this.

It just seemed like a "meh" movie but the most recently trailer sold me. I mean, it still looks like a bomb but I definitely want to see it

I tend to love bombs anyway

I love Guy Ritchie, but the trailers I've seen looked pretty bad.

Guy Ritchie's style is energetic, maybe people don't like a cheeky fun medieval film, and want epics? Though previous medieval epics weren't too hot box office wise, except Gladiator, Braveheart and 300 etc.

My wife is a big Sherlock fan, she likes the BBC series and Elementary, but not the RDJ Guy Ritchie rendition, RDJ playing himself and movie is too much like an action blockbuster than personal detective story? Maybe Guy's version is just different to fans' expectation, kinda like, hm, Zack and Sup =P

I found Richie's Sherlock to be very irritating. It did seem like movie was more interested in action then it was in being a mystery. I don't hate it but I never got the big deal over that first movie. I mean I like the chemistry Between Jude Law and Robert Downey jr. but the whole thing was just a flashy over edited and hyperactive mess overall.

So who will land the right to 007?

If WB gets it, get Nolan to direct, Zimmer to compose, Wally for cinematography, ?Anne Hathaway as a bond girl :hmr:

Nolan would love to make a Bond movie, and that would be the best case scenario. Lol, imagine Bond theme played in Zimmer's Inception sound. :drl:
