Marvel drones trying to convince me that Civil War's playground airport fights were better than BvS' fights. Man smh... there's a reason Supes got his ass handed to him. It was a 'real' fight between two parties where one of the parties' hearts wasn't in it. Ben Affleck's Batman would solo the MCU without killing anyone based on conviction alone.

I love Avengers: Civil War but the airport fight was rubbish. That thing shouldn't have been in the movie in the first place. I wanted to see the civil War among the Avengers and not happy quipping from the same.

I thought it was okay, but not nearly as good as the chase sequence that commences with the German police going after Bucky.

I thought the airport battle scene was awesome, it was like seeing a big comicbook brawl come to life. I still get a giant (no pun intended) grin on my face when Ant-man goes giant.

And I didn't care for Civil War overall.

Nothing makes that clearer then how everyone gets 'serious' when War Machine gets shot. Son, I have no issues with them showing the films early to folks in need like her. It just feels like it can kinda be of a mess, if the films are not ready yet. Bad PR and all that etc and a letdown fan.

Plus, if you wanted a serious fight, Civil War has the bunker brawl in the end.

Tbh the only scenes I care about in CW is Spider-Man and the airport scene.

Not really, no. It was more like Civil Horseplay. The word War carries connotations. If two people disagree to the point that words break down and hands are traded then it's not supposed to be "fun".

It isn't some scheduled prizefight for a championship belt. The 'playground' aspect of it defeats the purpose of the confrontation. It's like "we're trading punches right now, but for real we could hash this out over swarma if we wanted to".

I can't except that. If these guys were having a beer and joking around yeah that's cool. But during a fight? I have fought friends before. It's not pretty or fun. It's actually worse than fighting someone you don't like.
