When you think Alan Moore and comic books, you don't think Batman. His legacy isn't Batman.

Alan Moore is sick of everything. It's not news.

he didn't write TDKR nor Year One.

Oops, mistakenly I wrote Frank Miller's work.

Still, Alan Moore is not very supportive of current comics or comic based movies.

Don't know about his latest work either.

I disagree with Moore's sentiment. Batman is a lot more than a character who was made long ago. He's now an icon that spans the generations. He reflects the times now as much as he did in the past.

He also says that it's time for new story tellers to reach the audience of today and he can't do that. Basically his Batman and Superman isn't ours.

I didn't think his comments were *****ey or anything.

I don't care if they are or not, really. He's entitled to his opinion. I'm thankful for his contribution.

Why are you trying to upset a wizard? Damn you AF.
Your continued efforts to goad me are pitiful, FA.

ALAN MOORE QUITS COMIC BOOKS: SICK OF BATMAN

http://www.cosmicbooknews.com/content/alan-moore-quits-comic-books-sick-batman

Great News !

I liked his TDKR and Batman Year One but after that his work was not good.

Still, Alan Moore is not very supportive of current comics or comic based movies.

And he's right not to be - most are dreadful.

Don't know about his latest work either.

All of his LOEG stuff is brilliant. Overall, I rate Moore as the best writer ever to work in the genre.
