Warner Bros preempted the Leo Sardarian spec The Expansion Project. Brad Peyton, who just directed Rampage for the studio, is attaching as director. Logline: a rookie female marine gets stranded on a hostile planet during humanity’s space colonization.

Ooh. And I've heard some good things about Rampage.

I supported this Mike Verta's Live Symphonic Brass Masterclass indiegogo campaign and watching it live right now. It's fantastic. 11 A-list Los Angeles studio musicians who work on Hollywood movies and Mike talking about composing, recording, the musicians are playing Mike's pieces live, comment on them, etc. Invaluable stuff. One can become an orchestral composer without ever having to leave his house these days.
