It's becoming more expensive and more of a hassle since nobody wants to spend all that money and then sit in dirty theaters with sticky floors and teenagers who won't shut the **** up during the movie.
Theater subscriptions will be the norm soon enough. MoviePass paved the way, AMC (A-list) is the de-facto leader in the game now with its new plan, and Alamo is already starting trials. I expect Regal to roll something out within a year. That's roughly 60% of the country's theater count covered.

The Joaqker :wow:

I can just picture him saying Freddie Mercury's iconic line: "I'm just a musical prostitute, my dear". :funny:

The movie theater business will definitely evolve if it wants to continue, and there's way too many powers interested in making it continue, but I personally can see both sides of the argument; we don't need something like, I dunno, "Sharknado" to be released in cinemas (do they, actually??), while something like Interstellar or Blade Runner should definitely be experienced like that.

With reduced budgets, cinema released movies can prevail and find a more, say, "selective" (for lack of a better word) and interested crowd, the way vinyl records have resurfaced in recent years. I could see cinemas going the same way that theater plays (which once were considered "popular entertainment") have gone.

And WB still hasnt officially announced the movie have they? Smh.

USA must be expensive as hell.

Breh, I had to drive 45 minutes to see Mandy. Pay for parking. Pay for tickets/ food n drink.

Gas money
ticket money
parking money
food n drink money

gave my chick a 50 to buy new panties, she ended up buying some lame makeup. This is America. lol

To bring it back to the great Nic Cage topic.

Joaquin did a movie with him called 8mm. I really liked that flick. Another reason to spit at RT with that 22% score. smh.

I remember that movie, really liked it too; quite intense and twisted and both of them killed it.

Best part?? Directed by Joel Schumacher.

NIc Cage in that Bad Lieutenant movie is amazing. One of my biggest laughs ever in a theater was while watching that movie.

"Arthur Fleck". That name would take some getting used to. "Jack Napier" sounded cooler. lol
