Eh, not much of a gamer so got bored playing the new Spidey game. Waiting on Cyberpunk2077 and RedDead Redemption 2.

Will play the new tomb raider tho.
2 heavy hitters there, TR massive also.

I like that. ‘I’m not much of a gamer so I’ll get over my boredom... with other games’. :funny:

Never finished any GTA games and Cyberpunk won't come out till next year, fam.

Red Dead Redemption is an all time great game, so hyped for that. TR won't play till probably next year too.

I don't play many of these the minute they come out either. Have way too much of a backlog. Plus some of them are so long that you need to tell work you got trapped in your basement for 6 months or something.

I recently bought Witcher 3 for a bargain , and then I read up on them side quests missions. Goddamn. Playing the new Spidey game did make me want an open world game for Superman tho. Being able to fly all over the globe would be hnnngh af. Don't get me wrong, the new spidey game is fun, but not in any hurry to get back and finish it.

Witcher 3 is totally awesome. An open world Superman (hopefully from Rocksteady) would make the Hype explode. There are many people who have been clamouring for it for years and the rumour mill has gone into overdrive recently. Being able to use all of Supes' powers would be so cool.

For Superman, I would like the "world" part of "open world" to be literal, which I realize is a pretty big ask and might not yet be feasible. But that's part of the Superman fantasy, to be able to fly to Paris or Australia or wherever on a whim. My one quibble with the Spidey game is that they didn't even do all of NYC. So...the whole globe is certainly asking a lot. At least give us multiple cities around the world.

What are the chances that in the post credit scene of Joker solo, we find out that this is actually the prequel to TDK, and this is actually the origin of Ledger Joker?

We get a post credit scene where Joaquin's Joker goes to Harley's tattoo parlor and got "damaged" and others done and becomes the Leto Joker

=(

Surprised how much I enjoyed the latest season of Luke Cage given that I just barely got through the first one. Watching Iron Fist S2 now and finding it much better than the opening season as well. Go figure.

If this is an 80s period film that’d be a stretch.

Very interested to see their take on Bullseye.
Bullseye's in this? Nice.
That all but guarantees that Karen Page won't make it past this season. Hope I'm wrong, though, as I love me some Deborah Ann Woll.

I'd say you're probably right about that.

Passenger 57

Movies like this are such a guilty pleasure for me. These old simple 90's action thrillers. Besides Blade...and maybe New Jack City, this may be my favorite Snipes movie. "Always bet on black." Classic classic one liner. Also, this movie has a such a dope, jazzy, funky score.

10/10.

'White Men Can't Jump" is probably my favorite Snipes movie. Blade is very close second but when it comes to those buddy type films, Snipes and Harrelson are arguably my favorite duo, probably only behind Nolte/Murphy or Stallone/Russell.

Just signed up for DC Universe. Hope they eventually add their entire comic library like MARVEL unlimited

I find it interesting that most of the actors who played Joker in movies had their names beginning with letter "J"

Jack Nicholson.
Jared Leto.
Joaquin Phoenix.

Of course, there are exceptions, like Heath Ledger and ‎Cesar Julio Romero Jr (notice "Jr").

But I love oldschool WW. :oldrazz:

It looks good, imo, if the right artist is drawing it. I often find that's not the case. I also think the more recent, warrior looking garb just has a more visually striking appeal.

I'm pretty much caught up with the games I want to play as now I only play the games that most appeal to me. So it's usually the big ones like Spider-Man, Red Dead Redemption 2, Last of Us 2, Darksiders 3, and I'll wait to buy a used copy Tomb Raider at Gamestop. So it's probably only a handful of games a year at this point. I was disappointed when I heard Cyberpunk was going to be first person, but I mostly gotten over that and am looking forward to it again.

Witcher 3 is the best game I've ever played. And to think, I almost stopped playing it a few hours in. I love open world games, and open world RPGs can be fun, but when you get into having to craft items with ingredients and stuff, I tend to get impatient. So at a certain point (extremely) early in the game, I stopped playing it. But then I kept hearing how good it was so a week later I decided to give it another try from where I left off. And it just clicked.

I have a hard time believing such a game actually exists. There is just such scope, depth, personality (and sex) in this game. One thing I liked was that the side missions don't feel like typical side missions. It's not like most open world games where side missions become repetitive. It's more like Red Dead Redemption where the side missions seem to come spontaneously from the world itself, almost as if the characters and world have a life of its own. I don't know what you like, but I can't recommend this game hard enough.

I've never been what you'd call an avid gamer, but every once in a great while a new release catches my eye. I'll obsess over it for a few months; then years will pass before I pick up another one. I think the last two games I played were Batman: Arkham City and Tomb Raider 2013.
