Just watched Pitch Black.

Never seen it before, cool sci-fi movie, my favorite parts was by far the cinematography and the use of color, although I felt like the movie was missing something, don't know what.

Still pretty solid tho, I dunno if enough to make me wanna watch the sequels, this feels like a sci-fi kinda day.

Pitch Black is still the best chapter in the series. Chronicles of Riddick is meh, Riddick is good. The games are awesome and the Dark Fury anime is okay. I wish Diesel would make more of those, even though it's a flawed franchise, always liked it better than FF or xXx.

Re-watched "Reign of Fire". Such a badass movie. The way it blends medieval imagery with modern, high tech stuff, with freaking terrifying dragons. Such a cool movie. Christian Bale + Matthew McConaughey are fantastic together. "Time to kill some dragons. Alright, alright, alright"

I know right? The ace in the hole for any holiday release. But Dick Van Dyke dancing on tables was the real kicker to me - that'll hit the parents/grandparents right in the nostalgia feels for sure. Anyone who was gonna sit it out because she ain't Julie Andrews will check it out for that.
