Yep, I noticed that too.I was just listening to a film podcast this morning where someone made sure to point out that even WB's statement said they're still committed to working with Henry Cavill...but nothing about working with him as Superman.
So with this Joker movie are we thinking Phoenix'll don the makeup in the final act or the final frame of the movie?

2 for 1 coupon...it's gonna be a cinematic universe of angels & "woke"Because Hollywood severely lacks new ideas so they want to keep trying to cash in on the popularity of old franchises.
Dr Fate. They've already animated that one as well. There's also the Thanagarians and Blue Beetle.‘SUICIDE SQUAD 2’ Writer Reveals Film Will Tell A Deeper Story
"We’ve also learned a large portion of Suicide Squad 2 will take place in the Middle East. Having it set there was originally to help introduce Dwayne Jonhson’s Black Adam into the film. It was reported some time ago that Johnson was set to make his first live-action appearance as the character in Suicide Squad 2. Due to Johnson’s busy schedule, that plan has fallen apart so DC will now use another notable comic name in his place. It’s unclear who that could be but speculate as you will."

Given that they are likely also thinking about gradually adding in X-Men soon, I guess it could get a bit complicated. Would have been easier with X-Men already fully established and Inhumans as the new thing. I want them to ignore the TV show ever happened and one day bring Inhumans into the MCU maybe 6-10 years after X-Men. Till their entrance gets closer maybe they could just leave Kamala and everyone around her not knowing about her being an Inhuman for MCU purposes. They've just gotta work out how they want to handle the Inhuman factor. But I firmly believe she's already in their plans.
I personally think the X-Men need to go on ice a few years to give everybody a chance to forget their Fox incarnations (since we've still got two more of those coming out soon) before their Marvel rebirth, so I'd rather see Kamala/the Inhumans aspect come first.Given that they are likely also thinking about gradually adding in X-Men soon, I guess it could get a bit complicated. So, let me get this straight: You moan endlessly about Superman getting no respect, yet you also don't approve when he schools the entire Justice League in a fight? What do you want, man!?Well I am definitely interested in seeing on what her character has to offer, especially since she is the last major character that has yet to be introduced before most of the original Avengers move on.
I have no doubt that she will be one of the new faces for the MCU after A4.
Though, I'd be lying if a part of me wasn't concerned that they will make her into the MCU version of what Henry's Superman came off as when stacked up against the rest of the league, but in Marvel's case the rest of the Avengers.
I generally don't like the idea of one single character of a superhero group having such a huge difference in power when compared to the rest of the group.

For real though, I don't think that's a risk. The Russos and Markus & McFeely have shown more sense thus far than to have a random newbie come in and render all the heroes they've been building up for 10 years suddenly irrelevant. She may be the most powerful, but they'll ALL be necessary to win the day. That's a safe bet, imo.Confusing right?
Although Superman is my favorite character, I have never once thought or wanted him to be presented in a manner where he could outclass most of the Justice League on his own as it devalues the whole concept behind needing a team/Group of superheroes. That is one of the reasons why I didn't like the idea of him being "dead" as the events of the film began because it was a given that they were setting up a scenario where Superman's intended return was supposed to end with him saving the league and beating the crap out of Steppenwolf.
Superman basically became a plot device which is what I don't want to happen to Captain Marvel. I have no problem with the idea that she is on par with the likes of Thor and the Hulk. I just don't want to see her singlehandedly defeating Thanos on her own.

I see your point, but Superman being that powerful is part of his charm.Confusing right?
