Only anger I remember of her is when everyone was against Mar-Vell.
Skrulls and Robot Tony saying she's being fired.
She tried to make light of fighting a Griffin, but her lines felt intentionally awkward whilst Janet, Clint, and Steve were ragging on her.

I think people seem to be projecting a bit on the "blame" part of things. He makes fun of it a bunch in interviews and the Deadpool movies but I haven't seen any actual bitterness or anger from him about it hurting his career. He's just having some fun making fun of a movie that is widely considered a notorious flop.

If anything Greg Berlanti seems to be the more bitter one.

Nah man. It's all Reynolds fault for WB being morons and not having a clue what to do with the character among many others. :o

"But Green Lantern is a great one to point to. I got fired from that movie as a writer and as a director, and yet my name was all over it," revealed Berlanti in 2016. "I still get blamed for it, even though I had nothing to do with the finished product. As Marc Guggenheim always says, there's a very Google-able script that we did write that was not executed that I still stand by. But at the time, I thought, 'Oh God, that noose will hang around my neck my whole life.'"

So, Greg Berlanti and Marc Guggenheim are saying that their script was not used ? Also, many fans feel that Geoff Johns was not given any responsibility and he did nothing, director Martin Campbell also had very little input in the story, it seems to me that everyone involved just want to avoid taking any responsibility of that movie.

What's funny is Reynolds seems to be the only one involved with that movie who actually doesn't mind talking about it. With anyone else they pretty much don't want to ever mention it again, hence the TTG meta joke that "We don't talk about that movie". They started bringing it up after the Deadpool jokes. Five years ago you would never see WB put a joke like that in one of their theatrical movies.

Actually I'll go one step further with GL and I'll even say that movie can fit inside the current DCEU if you take away that one line about Earth's first contact with an Alien and then you could just use the ending of that movie to justify why Hal wasn't in JL because he was off in space on a mission.

Yeah, but the downside is that it will add another movie with a low RT rating to DCEU's collection.

Let's try this again, I suppose.

I won't be watching a live action avatar, not this year anyway.

Nobody puts the blame on him for how that movie turned out, people just don't seem to like his inability to stop living in the past or the way the Green Lantern franchise keeps suffering because of it. It's a bad movie that should've never been made. We get it. It's dead. Bury it.

I don't know why they'd want to do that. If they're trying to get people to give Green Lantern another chance, that seems like the last avenue you'd wanna explore.

Watched the Captain Marvel trailer. Looks fun.

This is encouraging at least.

Heh. They're getting out in front of it already.

“We’re thrilled for the opportunity to helm this live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender. We can’t wait to realize Aang’s world as cinematically as we always imagined it to be, and with a culturally appropriate, non-whitewashed cast.

It’s a once-in-a-lifetime chance to build upon everyone’s great work on the original animated series and go even deeper into the characters, story, action, and world-building. Netflix is wholly dedicated to manifesting our vision for this retelling, and we’re incredibly grateful to be partnering with them.”

The movie was such a black eye.

Lawd, imagine if Capt Marvel makes more than WW...

What's wrong with her comic book counterpart?
She was written like **** in Civil War 2 so now some people like to pretend that the very popular DeConnick run never happened because it doesn't fit their agenda that everyone hates the character. That's the gist of it
