I do not recommend watching Batman: Ninja, you'll do good avoiding it. The infamous Bruce Timm movie from last year is better than this one.
Captain Marvel looks boring so far.
It's just a teaser.

Lawd, imagine if Capt Marvel makes more than WW...

We're getting two kick@$$ movies about female superheroes the same year, so I'm excited regardless.

It will easily make more money than WW. WW had being a part of DCEU stigma on it, CM has being part of Marvel boost
It's quite possible, one thing Marvel/ Disney are very good at, is to open their movies in a week where they will have very little competition in first two weeks.

The question is, can Captain Marvel make more than Spider-Man :Homecoming ? SM:HC made 880 mil. worldwide.

lol that emphasis on non-whitewashed.
Not to mention "culturally appropriate". lol Apparently fantasy stories being "culturally appropriate" no longer seems to matter when it comes to The Witcher tho.

I like how they can say something like that in a public statement as long as it's directed towards one particular group. Not that whitewashing isn't wrong and problematic mind you, but they seem to pretend like that's the biggest problem with Shyamalan's movie.

Nobody puts the blame on him for how that movie turned out, people just don't seem to like his inability to stop living in the past or the way the Green Lantern franchise keeps suffering because of it. It's a bad movie that should've never been made. We get it. It's dead. Bury it.

I don't care man. I find it funny as hell.

I just don't understand why can't people write stories how they were originally intended/envisioned. If you wanted to do a story that heavily features characters of ethnic descent, well you got Avatar live action now, and vice versa. These fan backlashes don't need to happen. It's just common sense. But somehow Hollywood still hasn't figured it out completely yet.

Because until very recently Hollywood was caught up in the notion that movies with non white leads don’t sell. Even Ike Perlmutter, the owner of marvel, fought against making Black Panther for years because he claimed no one would watch it.

Well, I think these days whitewashing or "ciswashing"(I believe that's what they called it when Johansson was cast as Tex Gill) is the only time where a fan backlash makes any difference. If the backlash is related to changing any straight white character, it's ridiculed, laughed off, yelled at and demonized. Whether fans happen to have valid complaints or not, it doesn't matter, it's always portrayed as one-sided. So no, I don't think Hollywood would figure it out, when it doesn't really seem that difficult as you pointed out.

Same reason it took years to get more women led superhero movies, because Catwoman and Electra were somehow proof people won’t support female superheroes and not just that people like movies that aren’t terrible.

Can't wait for the second season.

DOOD!!! I'm SO excited about season 2!!! I had absolutely no expectation or anything (never played the game) before season 1, matter of fact, stumbled upon it accidentally and it totally blew me away!!

Maybe I should rewatch season 1 before the next one...yeah...that sounds about right. :D:D

The beauty... :hmr: :hmr:

I wish Castlevania's success would make them do more Netflix shows based on video games. If Hollywood can't make that type of material work on the big screen, it won't hurt to try in animation or TV.

I found Captain Marvel's trailer to be very good.

Not unique, or transcendental, but very good.

Its gonna be yet another solid Marvel movie. The question is will it strike Black Panther level lightning in a bottle?
