There's a couple of little differences there; the kind of attitude I mentioned which I've seen online is curiously only seen when referring to superhero movies, that kinda "metric" doesn't seem to apply to TV shows (thankfully!) and hence, not to the Netflix shows; second, there's always "umbrellas", Logan being Jackman's last outing, R-rated, "western vibe" gave it a special placing in that it wasn't seen as another "superhero movie", which I believe freed it from the usual checklist of what superhero movies "should be" ("it's FUN!!!"), Deadpool was lighting in a bottle, etc...some movies get a free pass when they don't follow into the "maintream PG-13 superhero showdown" category.

Good points. In addition to the Netflix shows being television instead of film, which thus allows one to engage with the material in a more literary way, the characters featured in the shows weren't as iconic in general or iconic for being "light" characters like Superman is.

LMAO Paul Schrader is at it again, this time with Kevin Spacey stuff. Just stop, dude.

I'm curious, what made you all sign up for Netflix to begin with? For me, believe it or not it was SPARTACUS. Back in the day Starz had a deal with Netflix where theyd air a new episode and then the next day air that episode on Netflix. I didnt have Starz but they let you watch the pilot episode on their website and i was hooked and really wanted to watch it so I pulled the trigger on Netflix and never looked back. Lol

It wasn't one specific show, but I liked being able to watch older movies without the hassle of having to track down and purchase them individually.

Goddamn, fam.

Ya'll talkin like Netflix don't have any good stuff left or talkin like ya'll already seen everything on there. My queue on there seems like miles long, have not even made a dent, and I watch a lot of flicks. Also, Netflix will continue to buy or finance films that no other big studio are willing to do anymore. I mean, they have the new Orson Wells film ( I have not seen it yet), they got the new Cuaron movie premiering on there in a few days, new Coen brother movie, they financed the new Scorsese gangster movie out next year. They let Fincher do what ever he wants with series. I expect the next films of PTA, Garland etc to be exclusive Netflix premieres in the future.

why Quentin look more photoshopped than the bride?
what do you get when a Jim Belushi breeds with a Michael Shannon?
yes, very jealous...dude's got it in the bag

His dad got pissed because was not invited. lol

That guy walked out on Quentin and his mom, and then used Quentin's fame to push forward his own awful acting career.

Miley Cyrus

Never found her to be hnnngh, until I saw that gif of her latest music video. Goddamn! She been working on that peach. I can't post it for obvious reasons.

I have always wondered why doesn't the DC streaming service have the more recent live movies like Superman Returns or Green Lantern or Nolan's Movies, etc. It could help them more.
Yes, more content is surely better for a new service. Especially the Nolan films.

Breaking Bad for me. I had a free trial, binged it in a few days, and then cancelled as planned. But that gave me a chance to see that the service was much better than I’d expected and I soon signed up for good.

Netflix bastahs have also slowly brought the price up. I remember it was like 5 dollars, then it went to 7.99, later 9.99. I think I'm closed to 15dollars now or just a bit less, not sure.

i bet their personal wedding videos will involve close up shots of her foots.

They allegedly started their solo dance to some typical classical song, it then moments later became the song and dance from pulp fiction.

DC’s most famous female hero, Wonder Woman, is on the way back as well. Filming began last summer on Wonder Woman 1984, which reunites director Patty Jenkins and star Gal Gadot for a sequel to the acclaimed 2017 hit. The movie’s release has been pushed to June 5, 2020. There’s also been talk of films for Supergirl, Zatanna and Batgirl, while male-hero movies like the long-promised Flash solo film or a new Superman installment have lost momentum.
