Man, the last episode of Titans was amazing! The show really keeps getting better and better!

And saw the trailer for next episode, MAN!! It looks insane!!! :hmr: :hmr:

I really don't care if it deviates from "canon" or whatever; so did Injustice and many other stories, or if it's an hallucination or whatever, it looks savage!

Went to the comic book store today, got For Tomorrow, Superman Reborn and Sinestro Corps War; 'tis was a good day.

EDIT: Kinda celebrated a bit before checking; I got volume 2 of For Tomorrow (Don't have volume 1) and got only volume one of Sinestro Corps War...but still...

Big X-Mas night out tonight. If I'm not active within 2 or 3 days, then alert Interpol and all other authorities. :p

Have you read Injustice comics ? For Tomorrow is amazing, almost feels like a story Snyder would be interested in for making a movie.

Haven't read Injustice; I heard is a great story, although I'm not too fond on the idea of a Superman who not only becomes tyrannical, but also cruel despite the tragedy (although it could be rightly justified within the story); I am interested, is just not in my immediate wishing list. I heard plenty that For Tomorrow aligns quite well with Snyder's version, and I know is one of Cavill's favorite Superman stories too (and he suggested using it as a template for a movie), but I guess I should wait and get volume 1 before reading volume 2?? :yay:

I'm reading Superman Reborn now, and I just thought: How about Mr Mxyzptlk!! (Zod, how on Earth do you pronounce that??) I think most people - myself included - think of him as a super silly and campy character, but I think it can offer lots of interesting possibilities; visually you can do lots of thing that haven't been done really in the franchise (or thing that are still relatively new to CBMs), it might present not only a physical, but a mental challenge for Supes, and I think that properly done the character can be funny, but also quite creepy and dangerous. I can pull a "Ragnarok" in the sense of injecting new live in the franchise by embracing the most outlandish concepts in the universe (without the need of excessive silly jokes or bathos, comes down to the writing; I'm thinking more Aquaman or Wonder Woman than Ragnarok in that tone), offers a new type of villain which isn't a reflection of the hero, a lush visual spectacle that show a completely different adventure for Superman.

I'll be waiting for my check WB. :word:

(Please refrain from "WB hates Superman", "the don't want to do Superman" comments; I come here for the fun of speculation, not to be bombarded by Debbie Downers :o )

Spike Lee is a turtle person. I still owe him a slap for Chiraq as well.

Mr. Mxyzptlk is my 2nd favorite Supes villain behind Brainiac. I would LOVE to see him in a Supes film some day.

As for the pronounciation, here ya go:

Seeing the film in about t minus 2 hours

Ready to get #litty as we say in the hood

That's honestly the only time I've liked Mxy but that's because that episode is a goofball comedy. As for a full length live action film I think it would be awful. I personally never want to see Mxy in a film.

Well you know I feel the same about Metallo so we’re even. ;)
