F**k, this sounds awfully close to MCU-all-over-again. More so when @Aurakles did not like it. Wonder Woman was rather mediocre and people praised that film to heavens, I'm getting some very unpleasant déjà vu from all of this. A colourful funny actiony crowd-pleaser with meh script that makes big buck so we can get another ones of such ilk for next 10 years.

Try not to go in prejudiced, you might enjoy Aquaman.
I'm sure there are plenty of films we disagree about, I mean, I'm the kind of weirdo who doesn't like Star Wars.
 
With the Harry Potter franchise I think they're gonna continue going on a downward trend. The idea of a Harry Potter expanded universe seemed like a novel idea at first but I think people are growing less interested in the idea of Harry Potter movies with no Harry Potter.

With a franchise like DC though, the sky is the limit. We're seeing that now with Wonder Woman, Aquaman and the distinguished competition, or even just the older movies like Nolan's latter two Batman flicks. Done right, these are billion dollar properties easy. If they'd gotten off to a better start in the first place with a more solid foundation and better audience and critical reception to the earlier films, Justice League easily could have been a billion dollar grosser.

The potential is there.

If only Warner Brothers gives more freedom to their directors but with Wan they gave him the freedom and with Jenkins they did but with Snyder they didn't and why is that?

Also, interestingly enough Will Beall is no longer credited with Venom.

I saw Mortal Engines.. it wasn't bad and if you guys ever want to see a live action Metallo, check it out.
 
I think YA movies are dead. This is the most recent in a string of bombs based on young adult books.
 
Miss Peregrine almost made it....maybe more Eva would have won more geek dudes? =P

I love how they took these two voice actors to reprise their roles for the Neversoft game, it's a win.
I'll watch it to celebrate the 20th anniversary of this show by watching it, after I'm through watching the completely unrelated 90s cartoon celebrating it's 25th anniversary.

It's already out? I had no idea, thought it was coming out next year. Haven't seen a single ad or mention of it.

I watched Fifty Shades Darker last night and the the helicopter scene is the funniest scene I have seen in months lol

I thought of a moment from this movie, not this one, but it involves a helicopter.
 
Going for my second viewing of Aquaman. Impulse buy.

I woke up, cuddle with the missus a bit, booked ticket and on my way; not even coffee.

I'm literally starting my week with Aquaman. Damn straight! :aqu:
