Good for Netflix.

They will soon become the home of Fincher, PTA, Coen Bros, Scorsese...and eventually, bald Nolan.

Just a short time till it's back.

Those are some interesting designs. Is the black dude Aqualad?

OMG. Sorry to hear that, man. What happened, was he ill?

Yeah, the woman we'd rehomed him with said he suddenly started to struggle to breathe on Saturday and yesterday hed took a turn for the worse so had to get him put down.

Oscar VFX shortlist

“Ant-Man and the Wasp”
“Avengers: Infinity War”
“Black Panther”
“Christopher Robin”
“First Man”
“Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom”
“Mary Poppins Returns”
“Ready Player One”
“Solo: A Star Wars Story”
“Welcome to Marwen”

Really? I'm afraid to look at the other categories
If they are willing to add so many questionable choices... why leave out Aquaman ? (I haven't seen it yet, but the movie is mostly getting praised for it's visuals, I don't get it.)

@BH/HHH I don't know what to say, I'm sorry.
Captain America separates X-Men from Spider-Man. Logan visits Steve's grave in X-Men, Spider-Man fights along his side twice.

I don't recall Wolverine visiting Steve's grave. I know there's an episode where he has flashbacks about fighting alongside Cap during WW2, but the grave he visits is of a comrade he thought betrayed him.

It's included in the hilarious Previously on X-Men video from Youtube.

Oscar shortlists released. Not gonna tell you what happened but you can guess from my rant

I'm reminded of the persistent rumor the Academy voters hated Leo for being too young and good looking or something.

I'm very sorry *hugs* My dog had trouble breathing and I had to have him put down so he wouldn't suffer anymore.

They are both in far better place now, happy and healthy.

Ok, I ain't no mathematician nor am I privy to Netflix's profits but this is just INSANE:

Netflix Aiming to Release 90 Movies A Year, With Budgets Up to $200 Million

Seriously, someone needs to tell me where Netflix gets all this money from. Either its in tremendous debt that its not concerned about getting out from under or they're profiting billions each year from their subscribers and endorsements.

It does seem like that, no?

But then you think about all the millions of subscribers worldwide, per month!
I just looked it up and there were 131 million subscribers this past year WW. I'm assuming that's an average monthly #. 131 mil times 9.99 is $1.3 billion. Per month! $15 billion a year! Maybe my information is wrong, but either way, they making money hand over fist. And that's even with the fact that each account is allowed up to, what, 5 total users?

She earned that by being spot on here. Just type 'aquaman oscars' in the twitter search

Nice going trying to get those ratings up AMPAS, tbh I've been watching Oscars live for 15+ years and if Bohemian Rhapsody somehow manages to get BP nomination that's a no from me dawg

I think with the death of the medium budget movie, a lot of more prestige directors are gonna start gravitating towards streaming for these types of movies. Buster Scruggs going to Netflix after an extremely limited theatrical run where it made no money (solely so it can be in award consideration) was the strategy I think we're gonna see a lot more of in the coming years.

I admit,
That only the angels (only the angels), Yes, only the angels heralding the trumpets of doom can make music sweet enough for me to hear. Yes, I admit. Just a step below Prime Jennifer Connelly, I admit.

But Cool As Ice would actually have to be better to qualify as horrible.

I just realized if Cavill can't do the cameo for Shazam....

and then Billy be like, "so Aquaman, did you save Superman?"

Thanks Harle

Aw I’m sorry to hear that, must have been awful. With Fred he had been rehomed so it wasn’t me who had to do it. Must have been one of the hardest decisions ever.

Hugs to you too

my condolences =(

Thank you
