Damn "empty shell" thats some harsh **** and I strongly disagree but to each his own.

I feel like there is a litmus test for your enjoyment of Aquaman which is essentially the opening sequence where Arthur crashes into the submarine, shirtless and wet and he whips his hair back and smirks at the audience asking "permission to come aboard?" with a badass guitar riff. If that scene makes you smile or cheer then you're going to have a great time with this movie. If that scene makes you roll your eyes or groan, then you might as well exit the movie at that point as it isn't going to be for you. That scene is Wan and Mamoa telling people exactly what kind of movie they're getting.

That scene was cool. He looked so powerful. I don't think some people realize just how amazing it is that Wan pulled off a mostly underwater superhero movie. I mean, not only did he have to create an underwater world with different regions, each with their own look and designs, including the citizens, but he did it all the while making it feel realistic that it was all taking place underwater-- the way people moved, swam about casually as if they could all fly, the fighting, all of it. This takes the underwater scene in Phantom Menace and magnifies it by orders of magnitude. Even if one doesn't like the movie, we should all still be able to appreciate what was accomplished.

People underestimate how big an undertaking a big blockbuster is.

Nuns would cheer during that scene.

Wouldn't be surprised if Patty had WW84 moved so she could take a vacation before working on post. Also I would be surprised if the Russo's take on another blockbuster after Endgame. I think they'll go back to TV or produce some projects.

The WW news should also put the kibosh on that moronic "leak" that the movie was being completely reshot and rewritten so it could be Flashpoint instead.

Merry Xmas =)

and I'm halfway through Titans and just realized Rita's from Two and Half Men, lol lol lol

Why Marvel Studios now is Marvel Stud10s ?

It's like writing Entertainment as Enter10ment.

Gotta appeal to millenials, I guess.

Saw Into the Spider-verse finally. I liked it. Didn't love it. It was a charming animated cartoon. I think for me, the storyline was a little too...zany for my tastes which kept me at arm's length from being too emotionally invested. I think if this had been a straight up solo animated Peter Parker movie (or solo Miles Morales) then I would have really gotten into it. I see lots of people calling it the best Spider-man movie ever made and one of the best superhero movies ever made......eh. Its good, people, its a good animated family film but its not dethroning Raimi's first two installments any time soon.
