If WW84 and Aquaman 2 perform like we all expect them to, we’re definitely gonna see a JL film with those two in it, at least. Maybe Ezra and Ray too.

That's the dream. I think we can be confident on those 2 so I am really hopeful that the others also do surprisingly well. With a bunch of consecutive successes WB will eventually get brave again and start thinking about the bigger projects like GLC and JL.

A lot of them are older and seem to corroborate older rumors, like wb having looked at Lady Gaga for Birds of Prey or “a Kristen Stewart type” being wanted for Batgirl.

The shared universe I never thought was about imitating Marvel as much as DC just doing what is done in their own source material that has been going on longer than most fans have been alive. You don't need intrusive cameos or even references to have a shared universe, just the idea that these guys are theoretically doing things in the same universe and can cross paths. I really believe both DC and Marvel would be nowhere near as big as they are if all their heroes had stayed 100% solo all this time.
