Depends on who's writing the show. Not to say the other arrowverse shows haven't had their agenda stuff at times, but Supergirl takes it to whole new levels. I remember that scene in the 3-part crossover where Supergirl chides Dr. Dee: "What, too afraid to be a woman?" Like, huh? Then I remembered, ah, this is the Supergirl portion of the crossover-- Supergirl writers and all.

So if Batwoman has her own writers separate from Supergirl, then it should be fine.

Well I remember reading on how Batwoman's show was described by the network as one that would be about her fighting for social justice and it seems like they are more interested in promoting her orientation than they are in promoting her as a whole character.

I've also seen people here and there criticize LOT for doing some agenda stuff. I don't see it though. I find that show to be the most innocent of the arrowverse shows.

Well I remember reading on how Batwoman's show was described by the network as one that would be about her fighting for social justice and it seems like they are more interested in promoting her orientation than they are in promoting her as a whole character.

The two ideas aren’t mutually exclusive. Particularly when Kate having suffered discrimination for her orientation already was a major part of her backstory in the comics.

Most superheroes have some political overtones whether intentional are not. Hell, most of fiction as a whole tends to reflect the author’s views. The issue is typically less people being upset about politics in their stories and more not agreeing with the politics presented.

There were people who had similar complaints about Luke Cage and Black Lightning dealing with police brutality, which I also found funny.

The issue with Sara is that no woman is safe around her, she‘s a machine

No different than Capt Kirk, though. I think people just notice it more because she's a woman, imo.

Funny joke about Supergirl falling in love with herself, but I also can't hold the show against the character. I like her character. I like Alex, too. It's just the writing around them and some of their storylines that's just too much.

That makes total sense! can you actually see it on screen tho? I tried, too many fingers. too bad Harvey didn't burn his fingers to make it easier to see.

I hope one night when you go into the bathroom with all the free care in the world, and you turn on the lights and you see an old lady in a tub, you make out with her cause you go with the flow, you then run past a midget on a bike talking to two twin girls.

Man, Orange leaves such a weird taste in my mouth yet there's something to it that makes me like "enjoy" watching it.

It has the most funny sex scene ever. Can't imagine what the shooting had to look like.

Why did the Joker take the risk of placing a gun in Harvey Dent's hand?

Yeap, rewatched it (what an awesome scene! Every bit of this movie is pure goodness )

And yeap, it's the Joker (even after cocking the gun) holding the hammer with his index finger, so even if Harvey pulled the trigger, is was the Joker's call.

But there's another thing, the Joker clearly doesn't kill about dying as long as his death proves something, that everybody is a monster just like him, that's why he actually wants Batman to kill him, so he can prove that even the unbreakable Batman is corruptible, and I guess the same applies to Harvey and this point of the story.

Only one month after the theatrical release is rather fast.

That could lead to an interesting story, if he starts out 50/50 between human an machine, but he suffers wounds to his human parts and they get replaced with more machinery. Slowly he is becoming more and more mechanical, he's worried that he is losing his humanity, that one day everything will have been replaced, and he will no longer exist.

Ties in thematically with the growing mechanisation and digitisation of society, automation of labour, artificial intelligence, and leans in to the body horror aspect of the character.

When I think about it, Cyborg should be the darkest DC blockbuster no question. All those themes are so important, pregnant and thought-provoking, yet so dark. #CyborgWasAheartOfJLuntilItWasnt

Lately I've been getting more and more into this pulpy isshh, the aesthetics and sensibilities, I like them.

I'm so torn when it comes to this. It's so cool and makes you think about all those weird parts and nonsenses put together, yet it's all so WTF most of the time.
