Not interested in live action TV shows right now.

I’m starting to grow jaded with serialized TV in general because so often you get into something, invest in it then it gets cancelled, or the quality peaks then nosedives, or it outstays its welcome, or Scott Buck gets involved.

Or it drags in handling one arc, or under-develop it. Those aren't my reasons for quitting serialized TV shows though, I just watch anime, and some cartoons I used to watch and still love to watch.

Thats why I wasnt that mad when Daredevil got cancelled because it went out on top. Season 3 was so good that I feel it was only inevitable that future seasons wouldnt be able to live up to that and would drop in quality or become repetitive. I’d rather have an excellent tight 3 season show that tells its story than an 8 season one that has 3-4 good seasons and then fumbles the ball at the finish line.

i wanted them to continue with bullseye if they ever did do a season 4, but the way things were wrapped up in season 3, i feel it's a near perfect ending.
so i too am fine with that.

You either die a Daredevil or live long enough to see yourself become The Flash.

Yeah, I found the first two seasons of Arrow entertaining, but iunno if I'd call them good. Flash Season 1 though...man. That was like a masterclass in network storytelling. Never seen a show fall so hard so rapidly. As soon as the Zoom reveal happened, Flash just never regained its footing.

Ugh, The Flash. Hard to believe there was a time where Flash was competing with DD for best Comic Book tv show of all time. Boy did that show fall off.
Once I watched Daredevil I did not think Flash was a worthy contender, I just thought it was the easier to watch, although I didn't like how dumb they made Barry.

Nah, The Flash. Arrow was never actually good. :oldrazz:
:funny:
Some fans say it was good in season 4 and then dropped the ball again. I thought it sucked in season 1, and never tried to watch it after that.

I dropped Flash after season 2. I enjoyed Arrow seasons 1 and 2 but I’m still waiting for a *real* Green Arrow adaptation.

Its best season was S5, imo. I think S4 is probably the most-hated season in the fandom, lol. But even in S5, it never reached the quality level I'd call "good." It had good moments and a couple good episodes, but that's it. There are only 3.5 seasons of Arrowverse shows I'd put in the ballpark of good superhero TV: Flash S1, Black Lightning S1 (yeah, I'm counting it as Arrowverse), Supergirl S4, and half of Flash S2. And yet I still watch it all, lol. Even LoT, which I have yet to enjoy even a season of.

I'm trying to remember what s4 was...oh the guy who once played M. Bison.
Nah, s5 was a return to form sort of. Back to when the villain could just be balls to the walls and Arrow can briefly be Batfleck. Stephen Amell still has the best growly "Bat voice" oddly enough.

12 Monkeys was great to the end. I recommend it. It's either now on Netflix or Hulu, I believe.

They cancelled Colony and that was a really good show, imo.

Then there's a show like GoT that's amazing but that drops the ball at the 10 yard line (though I know you liked it).

It can be a crap shoot.

Doom Patrol E13 is so hot, then second to last episode was crap, lol, filled with standard TV jokes,
an orgasm fest???

looking forward to watching the finale tonight
