If it was outright rejected BVS wouldn't have made 845 million dollars. It would've made JL or X-Men dark Phoenix numbers.

it's the only movie out of the 56 that opened above $100M domestically to not make twice its opening weekend, it doesn't really get more disappointing/rejected after that much hype for its opening, obviously worse movies have been made though

JL had less expectations since its opening weekend was lower because it was a direct sequel to BvS and it didn't have batman, superman, wonder woman meeting for the first time ever in live action

it even had slightly better in reviews/cinemascore but didn't have the opening weekend boost that BvS did

raw boxoffice doesn't tell the full story and expectations/previous installements matter

That's ignoring how box office works. Hype got BvS and TLJ huge openings but look at the legs. The rejection is in daily drops.

Both that AND MoS should've made a billion. They had everything going for them to hit that mark except quality/audience reception.

People literally got fired over BvS, I don't think successes get people fired :P

I thought 2018 Robin Hood was fun I actually enjoyed it.

Now that I'm done, I admit enjoying it. It's confused historically, and I think it was filmed in Italy, I also don't like that there is too much shake in camera during action making the whole movie filming worse than the battle of Africa in Civil War.

Mayhaps, thou hath summoned the wrong poster. I almost stopped following new comics after 2012 ended, the Flash was an exception cause I wanted to know who killed Norah Allen, but then they went the cheap route of bringing back Eobard Thawne after it was announced that Gorilla Grodd ate his brain in front of future Flash.

But yeah, no more new comics for me.
