Lounge of Justice - Part 90

300:
Astinos: You're still here?
Stelios: Somebody's gotta watch your back.
Astinos: Not now, I'm a little busy.

When I saw that movie for the first time as a sweet 16 year old, that line went right over my head. :funny:

Whoa. Ray is now throwing accusations at Walter Hamada.

So every person since the JL debacle who's been in a position of power in the DC movie division is an abusive d!ckhead now? From Whedon to Berg to Johns to Hamada?

He didn’t say Hamada was abusive. Just that he tried to protect Johns.

I respect the hell outta him. Putting Hamada on blast the day the trailer for Fandome Part 2 comes out. He know this is gonna have consequences but he's sticking to his principles.

Cyborg in the next Justice League bout to look like

Watching Miley Cyrus on the Rogan podcast.

The hell happened to her voice? She's 27, yet she sounds like a 55 year old chain smoker.

Btw how can you have a name like "Destiny Hope" and decide to call yourself "Miley"?

Warner Bros Says Ray Fisher Hasn’t Cooperated With ‘Justice League’ Misconduct Investigation

In July, Ray Fisher’s representatives asked DC Films President Walter Hamada to talk to Mr. Fisher about his concerns during the production of “Justice League.” The two had previously spoken when Mr. Hamada asked him to reprise his role as Cyborg in Warner Bros.’ upcoming Flash movie, together with other members of the Justice League. In their July conversation, Mr. Fisher recounted disagreements he’d had with the film’s creative team regarding his portrayal of Cyborg, and complained that his suggested script revisions were not adopted. Mr. Hamada explained that creative differences are a normal part of the production process, and that a film’s writer/director ultimately has to be in charge of these matters. Notably, Mr. Hamada also told Mr. Fisher that he would elevate his concerns to WarnerMedia so they could conduct an investigation. At no time did Mr. Hamada ever “throw anyone under the bus,” as Mr. Fisher has falsely claimed, or render any judgments about the “Justice League” production, in which Mr. Hamada had no involvement, since filming occurred before Mr. Hamada was elevated to his current position.

While Mr. Fisher never alleged any actionable misconduct against him, WarnerMedia nonetheless initiated an investigation into the concerns he’d raised about his character’s portrayal. Still not satisfied, Mr. Fisher insisted that WarnerMedia hire an independent third party investigator. This investigator has attempted multiple times to meet with Mr. Fisher to discuss his concerns but, to date, Mr. Fisher has declined to speak to the investigator. Warner Bros. remains committed to accountability and to the well-being of every cast and crew member on each of its productions. It also remains committed to investigating any specific and credible allegation of misconduct, which thus far Mr. Fisher has failed to provide.

Ohh shiiii

They filmed it and then edited it out.

I can see why. Batman's costume looks hideous. Granted, they probably would have concealed him in the shadows but it's still doesn't change on how bad the suit looks.

Plus, the actor that portrays Bruce is such a big miscast.

Warner Bros. Says Ray Fisher Hasn't Cooperated With 'Justice League' Misconduct Investigation

Ohh shiiii

Couple of interesting bits that stood out to me:

1)
...Mr. Hamada asked him to reprise his role as Cyborg in Warner Bros.’ upcoming Flash movie, together with other members of the Justice League.

Other members? Now, this could just be Cyborg and Batman, but it also could mean they intend for other JLers to be in the movie as well.

2)
At no time did Mr. Hamada ever “throw anyone under the bus,” as Mr. Fisher has falsely claimed, or render any judgments about the “Justice League” production, in which Mr. Hamada had no involvement, since filming occurred before Mr. Hamada was elevated to his current position.

AND

Warner Bros. remains committed to accountability and to the well-being of every cast and crew member on each of its productions. It also remains committed to investigating any specific and credible allegation of misconduct

This is a strange way for a journalist to write an article. They are writing "objective truths" which a journalist should never do. It should always be from the perspective of those they got the information from, so either a quote, a paraphrase, or something like, "Mr. Hamada said WB remains committed to accountability..." or "Hamada denied ever throwing anyone 'under the bus.'" Instead, they say "... as Mr. Fisher falsely claimed." How do they know that? Were they wiretapping the phone call?

The way it's written is as if the writers of this article have first hand knowledge of this information rather than merely reporting it. It comes across as unprofessional like they were told to say these things (even if it's true, that's not the point).

3) I really hope Ray is working with the investigators otherwise, at this point, I would find it hard to continue to give him the benefit of the doubt. He did say he wanted an investigation; he did say he wanted to work with the investigators to present the truth, if memory serves correct, so if it is true that he isn't working with investigators, then I'm not really sure what he's trying to do at this point. Of course, because of the way this article is written, it is possible that there is a completely different side to this whole thing that the writers did not present or were not privy to.

Edit: Okay, the Wrap article is a little misleading. The THR article makes it more clear that every word was provided by a WB rep, so that undercuts everything I just wrote.

Yes Ray Fisher who literally asked for the investigation, is now NOT co-operating with the investigation. Bravo Warners, bravo.

At least try making your lies a bit more believable lmao

Let's face it, we all knew it was going to come to this. It's beside the point as to who any of us thinks is telling the truth here, when all it was said and done, WB were likely always going to try to paint Fisher as "problematic" during this whole fiasco. He kept releasing those tweets right around the time they'd release new content for Fandome and now after he chose to go after someone who wasn't even a part of the DC regime at the time the alleged incident happened, that gave them the perfect opportunity to strike back. It's kind of funny when you think that of all the people involved, Jon Berg was the only one who publicly defended himself, but the second Fisher goes after the current guy in charge, WB instantly comes out of the woodwork with a statement. lol That's corporate Hollywood man.
