A true pro.

That was funny but CCXP was such a bust, I wasn’t expecting anything ground breaking but to not even bring a teaser for the Suicide Squad or Batwoman was just such a wasted opportunity imo. Infact I wonder why they bothered to even have anything for the live action films (barring WW84) when they revealed practically nothing.

Just looked her up and she’s 50 now?! She can still easily play Sonya now lol.

Why is that more likely?

just looking at human history: when a more advanced civilization visits a less advanced one.
the former usually conquers the latter to acquire its land and resources.

we have to assume other life forms will be similar.

True, but even then, we are a relatively young species. To get to the point of space travel, you have had to navigate a lot of ethical issues that science brings up (cloning, nuclear war, etc). If as a species you have gotten past that without destroying yourselves and to the point of space travel, it would seem to me that such a species would be further along ethically.

this is also likely true.
it's essentially like the Prime Directive in star trek.

if aliens do exist but have just observed us from afar without interference, they are almost like benign gods to us.

Destroying your own species and destroying another is a different branch of ethics though. Cannibals are thought of differently to those tucking into a steak.

True, but notice more and more people are becoming vegetarians. Notice many things that were acceptable 100 years ago are not acceptable today. Monarchies are not as prevalent today. As a species, we have evolved, even if slowly. That may so be the case for a race that's a thousand years or more beyond us.

Nolan is also unhappy.

Though tbh he's owed some of the blame, as Tenet bombing in America because he wanted it rushed out in a pandemic almost certainly influenced WB's conclusion that theaters won't be viable next year.

Nolan caused the death of cinema as we know it with Tenet. Bravissimo Christopher, bravissimo indeed

According to a source, Emmerich tried to soothe In the Heights director John M. Chu by pointing out that the movie was still getting a “global theatrical release.” But industry insiders say the studio is pretending that pirates won’t pounce as soon as these films are streaming on HBOMax. As soon as it does, “there's an immediate, excellent version of the movie everywhere immediately,” notes one industry veteran.

WarnerMedia’s decision to attack without warning may be understandable given the blowback that was foreseeable. But to many insiders, blindsiding talent and their reps seemed like an insult. Sources say studio president Courtenay Valenti was the only Warner exec who dared to speak up about the need to reach out to key creative partners but she was quickly hushed.

Much of this outrage will surely be soothed if WarnerMedia is prepared to write big checks to all the profit participants in the films that have been moved. “It’s a critical time for them, at the highest, level, to make this right with the talent,” says one rep. But agents say the guidance that’s been provided so far suggests that the company isn’t planning to offer what is now called "Wonder Woman money," in honor of the rich deal the studio gave profit participants in Wonder Woman 1984 when that film was moved to HBOMax.

WarnerMedia had to shovel tens of millions at Gal Godot and the other key players because the company wants a third in the series. But that sets the bar high. Sources say even Suicide Squad director James Gunn, who is platform-agnostic, was not pleased when the studio followed its shocking announcement by floating a lackluster formula for compensating him and other profit participants in the film.

Ouch. I wonder how many bridges with talent will be burnt because of this.

Allegedly both Gal and Jenkins got an extra bonus of 5mill for their support of HBOMAX. lol

Rich people mad they're getting 5 mil instead of 10 mil. Yawn

**** Nolan btw. Dude put life's at risk all because he wanted to take advantage of that 20%

Cyberpunk 2077

Question to the brehs here who are following the game news/reviews for spoilers etc. May I just skip the main-story and just get a pad with a bunch of women? And if so, can I roll up to different spots with said women and just cause havoc?
