The problem I have with so called "appropriation" is where do you draw the line? If a black person says a white person is appropriating their culture by say having dreads, can a Chinese person say anyone who is not Chinese shouldn't have Chinese character tattoos? And dreads btw isn't exclusively an African thing. The Mongolians and Vikings (white people) have historically been wearing dreadlocks, so it gets confusing af when you don't know your history or the history of people you claim is appropriating your history. I mean if people want to get THAT anal about it, isn't wearing any type of suit appropriating white people culture from Victorian times?
