I’m just happy to see filming moving along. I just want them to finish principal photography on this thing before aliens inevitably invade us in December.
at this point, the aliens will get to watch the batman before we do.
Especially since Twitter keeps telling me the movie is totally gonna be cancelled!
So why would anyone want to go see a movie in theaters now. Even without the pandemic, why would people choose to do that instead of watching it in the comfort of their own homes.

Disney CEO on CNBC saying that they will transition to same day release for theatrical and streaming. Well, there you go.
Edit:
Looking forward to seeing this.I actually went to a theatre today to see The Trial of the Chicago 7 (great film by the way), was maybe twenty people in the screening.
I very much enjoy the movie theater experience.
If not for the pandemic I would be all about the theatrical experience. It’s the only thing I truly miss about my “normal” life and can’t ever replace. Well that and concerts, but the theater thing runs a lot deeper for me.
Sin City
Still one of the best cbms for me. Holds up nice. I have a feeling Snyder loves this flick too, but can't find any confirmation on his part. The sequel is ok, but mostly worht a watch for Eva Green.

I do too, but doesn't it kind of defeat the purpose of that experience by having it stream the same day. To me the main selling point of seeing a movie in a theater was that it was the first place the movie played and you either had to go see it or wait months for the home video version.
Yeah, they've got it wrong, Studios should still wait for at least 3 weeks before releasing it on streaming.I do too, but doesn't it kind of defeat the purpose of that experience by having it stream the same day.
