Lounge of Justice - Part 90

its like how amazon killed brick and mortar bookstores then opened up their own ones afterward.

they will probably look to do the same to movie theaters.

world domination, one industry at a time.

I don't know much about the business of theaters, but if they die out in their current form then what are the odds of companies like Amazon/Netflix/any of the major studios buying them up?
Long term I'm sure they'll be bought up once the virus is less of a factor, however long that takes, by a company that hasn't had to endure any of the current losses and is cash-rich.

Will be funny if the theatrical experience just starts to look like live-action streaming wars. You want to watch an Amazon flick on the big screen? You'll have to go to the Amazon theater. Rinse and repeat for Disney, etc.

i remember watching this in theaters.
it was bittersweet.
you can tell brandon lee's star was going to be huge.
and forging his own unique path, different from his dad's.

if only.

he gave this role his all.

bruce lee being a hero to me as a kid and many others growing up...then to have his son also die young like that.
it hit hard.

This was the first movie I ever saw in theaters. I was 4 years old. It's the inspiration for one of my tattoos and is the reason I love movies. Brandon was really something special and it always breaks my heart that we lost him right as his star was rising.

my bro bought the crow soundtrack when the movie came out and we listened to it on repeat.
especially the tracks by the cure, stone temple pilots, and nine inch nails.

and that last song "it can't rain all the time" by jane siberry. man...:hrt:

I think I watched The Exorcist when I was like 8 years old. Don't know what my parents were thinking.

Not in the theaters though, of course.

They allowed a 4-year-old kid watch an R-rated movie back then?

as long as your accompanied by your parents or adult guardians than they let u in.
i watched plenty of r-rated movies in theaters with my parents back then.

exorcist was scarier to me than other horror movies where there was just outright blood and gore.
exorcist psychologically got under your skin instead.

i use to go to church and they would tell us about demon possession, so it felt very real to me.
i could never finish watching the exorcist movies cuz of that.

I still haven't seen the third one, so I'm hoping to catch it sometime later this month.

Plus George C. Scott is in it and he's always boss.

I didn't care but am surprised to find out Ariana Grande ain't latina. Kudos to her spray tan persona. lol

Also, this is random but have become good friends with a british breh and we both just use the hell out of the ''C'' word. For every thing. Makes me feel like In Bruges.

Does he wear a black coat and happen to carry a crowbar wherever he goes?

Just asking...

It isn't as big a deal over here as in the US. Here in Scotland it is used very casually, sometimes as just a word for a person.
"Him? That's ma pal Frankie, he's an awrite c***."

DC just announced Future State. Big plans for the Superman family apparently. There's a new Wonder Woman (POC) and the next Batman is possibly a POC also.
