Everything Batman-related.

They just seem to move way too fast for my liking. Last season we got the old Titans backstory, the new Titans, Connor, Cadmus, Deathstroke, Ravager and Jericho, Batman, Lex Luthor behind the scenes, oh, and just for giggles, the death of Donna Troy story. The show just never found it's pacing and footing for me, trying to get to all these ideas in a quantity over quality fashion. Now they are doing even more big storylines and new characters next year and I'm like, wait, I still barely know the characters we already have.

It just feels like there are too many voices vying for storytelling power in the writer's room.

Edit: Totally forgot about the Starfire/Blackfire storyline which itself could be a season arc for a show.

James Gunn is a class act.

"Listen, David Ayer's gotten trouble for [Suicide Squad]," Gunn told Empire. "I know it didn't come out how David wanted it to come out. But he did one really, really great thing, and that is he picked fantastic actors to work with, and he dealt with these actors in building their characters in a really deep and fearless way. It's something David definitely deserves to be lauded for, and it's definitely added to this movie."

He's allowed to kill anybody because TSS is it's own thing and basically an elseworlds. Glad that was cleared up

If they are successful in establishing the concept of the "Multi-Verse" to audiences, then that will pretty much give them free reigns to do anything without being severely restricted by established continuity.

Filming now. Eh, I'm not sold on Olivia Wilde as a director yet, but tis' is a great script, which she would have to do a lot to mess up. I hope she doesn't step on her own toes. She got DP Libatique on her side, he will carry her through the rougher parts. I know she added way more and different characters etc. Pine's character in this so good. Pugh will deliver once again no doubt.

I voted a couple a couple weeks ago and saw my ballot was accepted. I lost my “I voted.” sticker though. Weirdly salty about that. How else will Instagram know?!!

i need to check the status on it.

how long do most of you spend researching on your local / state measures and propositions though?
it's a crap ton to read up on if you wanna make an informed decision.
i largely skimmed through lot of it.

my friend linked me votersedge.org which lines up all the pros/cons of all the choices in a disgestable format.
but then i already turned in my ballot by that point!

I don't spend much time on that myself. Too much to keep track of. Maybe I'll do a quick google search or something on some of them, but really, I don't know what much of it means.

In VA, after requesting an absentee ballot, I got an e-mail a day or two later (even before my ballot arrived) giving me a rundown of those state/local measures, including links to what each of the candidates were saying about each one. It was nice. I'd never gotten anything like that before voting in person before.

I spent maybe half a workday getting the gist. Then I spent the second half cross-checking different websites that line up with my political leanings and have voting guidance on them.

It’s definitely a process if you really wanna dig in or are more of a centrist.
