Dumb and anachronistic is pretty much the entire point of the character.
Doesn't work. Quill was already off the Earth. Gunn was just channeling Farscape.

iconic.
I've heard somewhere that Nolan was mad at Marion and choose that take on purpose.
Just a rumor, but petty if true.
I don't think Nolan would go that low, but Marion did sleep walk through Rises that time.
Had she been famous yet Sofia Boutella would've been my pick for Talia.
I loved her delivery of the "slow knife" speech.
I just don't think, outside the death scene (which I still blame Nolan for), anyone else could've done better with that role as written. It was designed to be a low-key, nearly background character until literally her last two scenes.I enjoyed that speech, until Batman said "maybe, *grunt*, your knife's too slow"
I laughed watching it on TV then realized this is the actual movie not Collegehumor
Those guys perfected their costumes towards the end of their run

Sidenote on that but it's why I get kind of annoyed at this trend of adaptations trying to hide that a seemingly new character is actually someone important from the source material. I thought it was dumb when they did it with Khan in Star Trek Into Darkness (literally everyone called who he was the first time we saw a trailer, or when they had the whole MJ twist in Homecoming (another thing everyone called) or probably most annoyingly, Christoph Waltz totally not playing Blofeld in S.P.E.C.T.R.E.
Anyone who is familiar enough with the source material to understand why the twist is a big deal likely saw it coming and anyone who would genuinely be surprised by the twist likely doesn't care all that much about the source material enough to begin with, so it's kind of pointless.
I called this a few years ago during SDCC 15 when the second trailer for BvS dropped. Hell, I figured it was obvious why Mr. Snyder would have DG be the dead Robin. And, if Im correct with the reasoning, not only does it make perfect sense, but Itotally agree with him.
The Dick Grayson Robin is the most well-known version of the character amongst the mainstream, PERIOD. If you wanted to strike a chord with Robin being dead with 90 percent-plus of this films audience, its a no-brainer to go with the original, most recognizable of Batmans bird-named sidekicks.
Die-hard comic book/Batman/Robin fans will disagree, but I get the why Mr. Snyder made it DG and I think it was the right way to go; both creatively/filmmaking-speaking.
I love Bale but he never has chemistry with his female co-stars (Anne included, imo), lol.I don't find her chemistry with Bale was believable though.
Although I find Hathaway the only one that had chemistry with Bale lol, Katie, Gyllenhaal (Maggie =P), Marion...not so much

It was mostly a rumour, Tthat take being so bad was what lend it whatever credibility it had.
He doesn't exude much warmth in his romancing, I dunno what is it.

Fair enough, maybe because he's the Batman?
Keaton was magnetic with both Basinger and Pfeiffer.Fair enough, maybe because he's the Batman?
