Replace "might be" with "always." :o

I enjoy it too. Not sure I love it, but I definitely enjoy it.

Yeah gotta side with the Moose here. The Burton version was pretty, pretty awful.

I saw it a long time ago and all I remember is the ending. Really nonsensical yet cool.

Here's the honest trailer for it.

Yep
My unpopular apish opinion :D

Did you know that Tim Roth actually rejected the part of Snape to play the villain in Burton's ape film? I bet he kind of regrets that now. Roth was actually pretty good as General Thade, though.

Dat makeup, tho. :o

Good for everyone
Alan Rickman is Snape, he is perfect

Roth was visually more like Snape is in the books and he could definitely have nailed that role. That being said, Rickman absolutely kills it as Snape and he is who I visualize when I read the books so I dont regret the way things turned out.

I bet if Roth had played Snape Roth would have had the pointed goatee like Snape does in the books. Rickmans face is a bit too round to pull it off.

Yeah, Rickman owned in the role! I don't care how things turned out, but I'm sure Tim Roth does.

Wonder if he would have played Emil Blonski if he got the role of Snape

JKR said that after the movie came out she pictured Rickman when she wrote Snape as well.

While I'm sure Roth could have been a fine Snape, I (like everyone else)couldn't possibly imagine anyone else as Severus Snape.

It would be like when they have to replace Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man. It will just be weird and automatically seem wrong no matter who it is.

Yeah, Dougray Scott was originally supposed to be Wolverine, but he had to do MI2 reshoots. I bet he hates Tom Cruise for that. :o

Hugh Jackman was the absolute perfect man for the role.

Devito did a great Penguin in BR though.

There was a lot holding Burtons' PotA movie from becoming great. It just wound up 'Meh'. The make-up for the apes was good, though.
