Seeing it at 11am Fri. Going to the sub-optimal local theater. Though they had gotten rid of the all encompassing urine smell that was there when I saw Logan at the establishment when I saw Thor there so... Progress?

Gross! I wouldn't give them any more of my money. :(

Oh, this isn't my call. Were it up to me I would be seeing it at the big multiplex in downtown Brooklyn but for a host of reasons my podcast partner finds this theater the most convenient. Like I posted though last time seeing Thor they had actually improved. It's a reall old school theater that originally had four screens and then they divided them so it's got eight. Trithfully it can't really compete with a modern state of the art ciniplex. I would wait but Ed want s to see it ASAP and given this theater's rep let's just say lines aren't a problem.

I got my Justice League ticket for Saturday at 3. The theatre doesn't smell like pee, but the city in general tends to smell like sulfur, so I don't know if I would even notice if it did.

Tell me the reason for the sulphur smell is the city is near an entrance to Hell.

My city doesnt smell. Now i feel oddly lucky. :p

Well, it is on the border with the US, so...

It was a layup that I had to take. Touchdown.

As for why the city actually smells like sulfur, I present this image from the city's Wikipedia page.

Yes, it is the giant insects. They are a major hazard.

For those with NETFLIX.....I recommend the movie Spectral starring James Badge Dale, Max Martini, and Bruce Greenwood.

A sci fi/horror/action movie

American special forces team in an Eastern European country, on an assist the locals mission, encounter a bizarre situation. With the use of special goggles (they're supposed to give the wearer enhanced vision help) soldiers see spectral images of people....people who kill them with a touch. Are they seeing soldiers in special camouflage....ghosts....or something else?

Action, suspense, scary stuff....good movie.
 Thanks for the rec, I love James Badge Dale. He should have a bigger career, imo.

I am not going to a lot of the major threads, but the JL forum seems way more tame then the BvS and SS forums. Which to me is good. How are the mods finding it?

People always blame the giant insects.

Can't we think of all the good they've done instead?

Hahahaha...

Back up a couple pages and see what C. Lee posted.

I thought the trailer looked interesting and I've had it on my list. Will check it out, although I usually don't do horror movies :oldrazz:

I once lived in a city that had a Mead Paper Factory in it. That was horrible. It went quite nicely with the Polaroid chemical place the next town over. In summer nobody opened their windows. :(

In the 1946 Beauty and The Beast directed by Jean Cocteau, the villain is named Avenant instead of Gaston like in the Disney version. In the 1946 version, Avenant is killed when a statue shoots him with an arrow and Beast turns back into a human. His human form looks exactly like Avenant. Imagine if the Disney version was the same and Beast turns into Gaston at the end.

Well I haven't found it necessary to ban anyone yet, so I'd consider it an improvement.

But yeah, not great.

Also, in this JL madness, I forgot Punisher is about to premiere in a few hours, so yay. Unfortunately I didn't get tomorrow off so I won't be able to watch the whole thing in one go as a normally do for these shows, but still planning to get at least a few eps in before crashing.

I can't wait. Shame this might be the last Marvel Netflix show we ever get.

Oh yeah... that Disney streaming service. Goody.

It had actually slipped my mind about Punisher. Welp... Looks like I can probably slip in maybe three episodes before I go see JL. NICE.

Sorry. I haven't been in the main threads. I also guess you lot have been cleaning it up a lot. On the plus side, this is probably the last Snyder release, so shouldn't be to bad going forward. WW worked out well, right?

Tomorrow is crazy. JL, Punisher and Battlefront. Won't be able to start the Punisher until the evening, but I am looking forward to it.
