So any of the European Hypesters here go to the Lowlands festival in the Netherlands? It bloody well rocked my socks, just like it did last year. I got to see the following bands (amongst others):

Wolfmother (also have a signed CD of them)
Razorlight
HIM
Snow Patrol
Hard-Fi (which I had seen already though)
The Raconteurs
The Kooks
Danko Jones
Arctic Monkeys
Muse

I hate you.

But I'll be seeing The Raconteurs in October and Muse in November anyway.

You have every right to hate me, because they friggin' rocked the place. Just by the fact that the people were going crazy the Raconteurs came on early, and rocked on thoroughly. A quickly spoken introduction and a few thank you's but consistent rocking.

Same with Muse, who went on to play an extra half hour, to some aggravation (eventually after a three-day walk, dance and standing marathon you get kinda tired) but all the pain just went away when they started rocking again. Really, it was like they were never going to quit.

I seen The Raconteurs in March at their second ever gig, so I know how much they rock, but I can't wait for Muse. I'm a big fan.

If they were anything like they were last night, you'll love 'em. Multiple orgasms kind of love.
