Michael Jai White's height is not an issue, it is his atrocious acting that is the issue.

Although you could have White and Ray Park cast together and get the Asylum version of Heroes for Hire. They can call it the Revengers for Rent

He's not an atrocious actor. Have you seen Black Dynamite?

Not yet but everything else I've seen him says otherwise. He's a horrible over-actor. Black Dynamite is supposed to be goofy and over-acted, which I presume is why he was good in it (or so I've heard).

Terry Crews is also a horrible choice. He's great in goofy comedies, but watch him in a serious role in Street Kings. I cringed every time he was on screen. That being said, I have met him and he is a really nice and cool guy. I just don't him to be Luke Cage.

A lot of movies film where I live.

But I actually met Terry Crews when me and a friend went to the Spike Guy's Choice Awards. We were seat fillers and we sat in Sylvester Stallone's seats when he got up and he never came back so we had the best seats in the house all night. It was dope. Sat at the table with Randy Couture the whole time and towards the end, Terry Crews sat at the table next to us. When the show was over we talked to him for a couple minutes, took a couple pics.

Thirded. No way in hell would I want to see Tyrese as Cage.

Wasn't there talk about Marvel tv series in the near future? Cage would be a character that could easily carry a series, imho. If it went that route, I think Omari Hardwick (Dark Blue, Miracle at St. Anna) would be a really good choice. In Dark Blue, I thought he exuded that streetwise attitude Cage has to have.

Like that choice.

I say go with Isaiah Mustafa as he seems to be passionate about the role similar to Ryan Reynolds for Deadpool. Plus, he'd be recognizable to the general audience because of the Axe commercials.

Except Henry Simmons, the majority of that poll of actors are not my idea of Luke Cage at all. LL Cool J or Terry Crews are good choices, but they may be too too old.
