Heimdall won't go down to Earth anyway and always wears heavy helmet which hides most of the face. Idris Elba can lose some of the facial hair for Luke Cage to further differentiate his roles.

Cage is meh to me. And Ive always thought that releasing a live action movie about him would not help Black superhero films at all.

AS for the video, it was pretty cool but idk I was laughing because I expected him to say "Look down, back up, THE TICKETS ARE NOW DIAMONDS!!". He has the voice for it, but Im still not sold

9 years ago Henry Simmons would get my vote. Of those listed he fits the bill the best IMO.

That said, I'm not sure i like anyone on this list a lot.

There must be tonnes of quality black actors that we've never heard about who could fit this role.

I think it be good to let someone apart from the 15 or so stock black actors we know of have a chance at this role, because as it is none of them are that exciting. Save for Elba, and even though he might be interchangeable to some I'd still like someone new.

They should do a casting call, American Idol style, Who Wants to be America's next awesome black superhero, have Stan Lee host it... Build it around acting ability and not on who can look like the biggest ****** as in some of his other shows.

I thought that was a pretty good clip. If this guy could pull what many actors before him did for their superhero roles, if he could gain a decent amount of weight (which he already has a lot of) then I'd totally buy him as Power Man. It's not like he has to go from Toby Maguire to Chris Hemsworth size or anything.

I'm curious about how well he'd do as Cage. He's more than just a voice and size.
