I feel exactly the same. I think that's what they're going for too and the fact Luke's role gets into the core of the story too so they have to keep that a secret but part of it is showmanship. The reveal is significant and can't be ruined.

Unless they'll say **** it and he'll appear in the TV spots.

I was hoping for something like that too but am glad he wasn't shown because it will be so huge when he finally appears on screen. I am dissapointed that he won't have a big role or a lot of screen time

If he get's a big build up that ends with him having a saber fight with Kylo or at least have a big moment where he's a big badass force user against the Knights of Ren and Stormtroopers then it could all be worth it!

Agreed 100%. The way I've been describing it is the feeling you get when you're super high while watching Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, and Mark Hamill appears out of nowhere, raises his lightsaber and says "Don't **** with a Jedi Master, son" and you ****ing BELIEVE him.

THAT's the feeling I want when I first see Luke.
