I thought I drop in to steal a post and to tell Jester that you spelled your myspace url incorrect under your name.

thats y u never do things in a rush and allways go over everything also being the worls worst spellerd does not help thrnk god for microsft word for the inpostant things lol now if i only remember how i did that i could change it because www.jesterfx.com will be up and running soon and i want to put that there and as my signature but dont know how to do that as well

I really dont get why they would make this thread unavailable after 20,000 posts. I mean if anything that should be the better reason to keep it because it means people are actually reading it. People will need this information for later and the only thing thats gonna happen is that people are gonna start a new thread asking the same questions and it will just start all over again. Might as well keep it to save people the trouble.

honestly out side of who you can go 2 to get a spidey costume and even now if you go to google or yahoo and serch for replica spiderman movie costumes you can find sellers every piece of info that was shaired on here is on the behind the scenes of all 3 spiderman dvds and the inportant info like what the best dyesublimation printers 2 go to and where to get cad files made were never shaired thats how peopel managed 2 stay on top

and trying to get certan costumer makers on here to take on a paying jobe is like pulling teeth and some times thay can have quite the nasty mood so good luck getting info out of them that will cut into their cash flow especially if they think you can be a threat to them

That's why I'm saying...

since they can't keep the thread (it's probably a programming thing that can't be changed)...

The first several posts of the new thread should summarize all we know from the first thread.

Info on fabrics, molding, lenses, vendors, and other related issues. That is unless only a few special people are to be begged for info they'll never give.

Well maybe we can have someone post info on their website and have them link it as like the first post and such. I'm not a 100 % sure if that's good since I don't understand the bandwidth and such but I just thought I'd add that in.

Or maybe to preserve the remaining posts in this thread we could just re-edit the post or something which I know is a bad idea but it worked on this other forum I was on since edited posts appeared after the current new post and did not change the amount of posts made.

If you don't want to DiY, and you are happy with it being a great costume that isn't 100% movie accurate, you can definitely spend less than $1500. If you can do a mix of buying and doing easier things yourself you can come in under $1000.
Wow, okay then! Thanks! I suppose I'll have to buy one then, I'm not sure if a 13 yr old is capable of making his own Spidey costume that looks like the one from the film! :P

Looks awesome!

So I just got word of mouth that a local restaurant is having a spiderman in costume show up to sign autographs for "super hero night". Supposedly the suit looks "just like the movie". LOL. We all know what that means.

I'm not sure if I'll have one done in time to show him up, but I'll at least go check it out. The suit is made by a local theatrical department, so if it's any good I might have to see what they can do about sewing some up for me (like Ollie). :)

Notice: As a result of new hardware, threads with actual discussion such as this can stay open longer than 20,000. I'll be keeping an eye on this, and ears open from the boss on when/if to close this.

But for now, this will remain open.

What does "actual discussion" mean? You mean "active"? That's good news. Keep us updated, please.

Actual discussion, by my definition is what is going on in here. Sharing images, thoughts and ideas on making a good Spidey costume.

Threads that do not do this are, for example the Lounge in Community. Where this is your average, meaningless conversation..

"Hey"

"Sup"

"What are you doing"

"Nothing"

"Me too"

"Bye."

"See ya"

Keep the conversation in here genuine, and you'll make my job a lot easier. :yay:

Ok like being in a chat room or Instant Messaging makes alot of sense ;)

Guys... need help here, please!! Just got a Yuri's kit (which kicks some serious motherfkn ass!) but i was wondering which shoes to use with it. I know about kung fu shoes, but there's like a 1000 modals/brand of those...

any specific suggestions???

thx!

hi , i really hate to do this but i need to start on my next project. this suit tooks me 3 months++ to complete it, lots of hard work on it. only wear once for photo.
the suit is made of the famous spideyplanet costume kit. it will fit the body size up to 6'.
the undershell and lenses included, just click on the lenses with magnet at the end of the lenses.
it also inclueded a pair of extra lenses , so u can chose for gluing up the lenses or use a faceshell.

PM or contact me by email for more info, i wish to give more offer to members here, before i list it on ebay for aution.

Hey guys I just thought I could show some updated photos of my Spidey4Fun Suits from Brad...I did alittle change to the Frames and Spiders on both suits...I finally got the right paint for the frames and Spiders on both suits for those that are still looking for the right paint you could buy it at any craft shop like Joann's its a Mettalic dark grey paint and it comes in a small jar...This paint does not crack at all and looks nice its called LUMIERE light ready mettalic arylic it comes in a small jar. It also depend if your in a dark shade when you take photos when your in the light your suit colors will come out too bright compare to when your in the shade. Well here they are some were taken in the shade and others in the light. I also redid the webbing for the red suit with a black marker for the entire suit it use to be dark grey I just wanted to see how it would look with black because I have seen other suits with black webbing lines and they look Fantastic..

guys, finally!!! the spidey has come back to superherohype board.

90% completed.

with Justin ( Jester Fx ) faceshell and lenses.

Your suit is coming out great Masked Rider...One question how did you get those lenses are they Festers Ive been trying to get a hold of a set of those lenses for the longest but I cant seem to find the person who sells them. at first I saw Young NYC with them on his Black suit I asked him he said that the guy he bought them from didnt make them anymore. If you know can you let me know..I know those lenses would look good on the black mask for the black Symbiote suit. Thanks

Thanks Pal do you know apporx....How much for a pair? I was trying to compare prices and designs to see which lenses are suitable and look great as well like these designs. The Lenses that Jester FX sells look similar to the first pair on these sets of Lenses. If anyone on this board still makes these designs like these sets listed below please let me know thanks guys.

It depends on what you want a set of f.S lenses are urethane rubber.
JFX Is made of resin. F.S came from a Spidey 2 source JFX came from a Spidey 3 source.
