Man vs. Wild

Yeah, I saw Bear on Kimmel last night, that was cool.

I loved yesterday's episode, how Bear made the bow and arrow was awesome, and I couldn't believe he actually caught fish with it. The bow breaking was really bad timing, but I couldn't help but laugh when Bear was chasing the rodent. Can't wait for next week.

How many episodes are left for this season?

Him chasing the rodent got a few laughs out of me too. :woot:

His reactions to things really heighten the show's enjoyment for me.

Only one ep left this season. :(

Anyone see him take that turtle out with a knife to the arteries-it was metal! I bet he pisses off P.E.T.A. members to no end :woot:

Yeah, his reaction to when he finds food or shelter is really cool cause you know he's happy about it. I really laughed when the bow broke, I know I shouldn't of, but it was just kind funny.

One episode left? Really? Wow, I really didn't know. :csad:

Yeah, it's really one of my favorite shows. Bear is just great, and it's really cool to see what he does to survive.

Discovery had a marathon of like, 6 episodes yesterday. It was ****ing great.

Man v. Wild. There was a 2057 run afterwards though.

Oh yeah, I watch the marathon too. I also watched the episode of "Ecuador" again.

That show 2057 I was talking about was really an interesting show. It was showing how that 50 years from now, everything could change. Like we could probably live longer, our world could be better and etc. It was really interesting.

I missed it too, but have a reminder set for the repeat tonight.

Yeah, yesterday's episode is repeating right now. I thought it was really a great episode. But really, I can't believe the season is already over. :(

W/e... survivorman starts in a few weeks... Bear will be back late 2007/2008... they are wrapping up filming the third season soon... I wanted to check out 2057 but never got a chance... anyone know when they air that show?

It was hilarious when he walk into the bog, he had no idea it was going to be that deep.

There's another marathon on right now, so I'll get to see the season finale again. I hope they continue to show a few eps until the new season starts. I'm sure I've missed some.

So the inside of a coconut will protect you from the sun if your stranded on an island?

Depends how big the coconut is. :oldrazz:

Seriously, that's not the first time I've seen coconut oil mentioned as a way to guard sunblock, if it's all you have.

As long as he's providing fact-based tips on survival methods and the show is entertaining, I'm good. Him bunking a few nights in a hotel and not being life-or-death 24/7 doesn't really mean that much to me.
