I am pretty sure that the Wii Wheel is standard in every Mario Kart game

It was with mine.

Anyone else feel like a lesser gamer when not using the wheel? It tracks your wheel usage - if mine is not 100% I feel bad.

some of the preorder places give an extra 3rd party wheel.

i got one from toys are us (not pre ordered just on 1st 2 days of release) it is rubbish comparedto the official one...still free mind

soon as the pens game is over, im on it.... today my store was selling it like crazy, along with the extra wii wheel. so if you guys are heading out to get it, i advice ya pick up at least one extra wheel, there gonna go fast.

The wheel(the official one at least, haven't used any 3rd party ones)works like a dream.

I'd take the wheel over analog anyday from now on.

Anyone know how to do powerslides in this one?

okay im getting a snes classic controller for the wii so i can unlock everything on this, i was never good at racing games with an analogue stick, and while im good with the wheel im not great

i love the wheel, like what was said before, works awesomely, didnt get to the harder cc yet but im sure from what ive heard on IGN.COM and other sites, im gonna need to use my cube controller or a classic.

i really really hate the fact that in Muliplayer battle mode, you can't play one on one with someone/friend............. you have to play in teams. That sucks

So...the same button to shoot your items also is used for the powerslide?

I was using B for my items. The instructions also said use B for powerslide and to use the digital pad for items. Usually your controls start off the same as whats shown in the manual. In other words, I shouldn't have had to change any controls first time I turned on the game.

Man.. That wheel is messed up with my game.. I couldn't do anything with it . Popped in the classic NES controller and wham.. instant goodness fun game.. finished the first cup

so far i havent had a problem with lag, soon as i get one, im golden, only problem ive had with the online so far is , last night tried to just race my brother online and it wouldnt work, soon as he would get a room for me to join him, i would get booted, or he would,
