Just curious what everyone thinks:

Who, in your opinion, scares the devil out of the baddies they fight?

Why do you answer the way you do?

Probably Dr. Strange, seeing how he can do literally whatever he wants to you.

The Punisher is feared by most of the low level villains (even though he's just a normal guy).

Thor is another that makes most of them crap themselves when he enters the room.

Yeah. Love how Count Nefaria (basically an evil version of Superman, power-wise) cowers in fear when confronted by the God of Thunder:

I'm trying to think of some more guys that are afraid of Thor, I just can't jog my memory right now. Wrecker maybe...?

The ones who aren't scared (Absorbing Man and Juggernaut) of Thor are just too dumb and arrogant to be afraid and promptly get handed an ass whooping.

So nobodies gonna say it? Fine. Hulk. :( I feel like I just blew a guy for a sandwich.

The Sentry. He's virtually immortal, no one knows the extent of full power, AND he's bat#### crazy!!! The best parts of Dark Avengers happen when the Sentry does something to scare the heck out the team (which includes the God Of War).

The only problem I have with the Hulk is that super heroes don't really fear him, they're out to stop his rampages. If anything he brings out the best in some of them by making them more courageous, trying to stop him at any cost. Most villains want to manipulate him for their own evil ideas.

And the Sentry...how can you fear a guy that cries all the time and runs away??

Oh please, with the Hulk, he's still the standard bearer for how powerful a hero/villain is. If you manage not to crap your pants and run away leaving little brown and yellow stains in your wake, you've done okay. Most if not all heroes/villains know that if the Hulk shows up, you should be running the other way.

For me, World War Hulk shown us the ultimate version of The Hulk, the heroes came to terms with that and still rose to defeat him. The Hulk is still a force to deal with but he's not as unstoppable as he used to be. Sure no single hero can take him down with ease and every single hero knows that, which is why it's always a team job.

They didn't defeat him in that, they got their asses whooped and he stopped just short of killing them for being a bunch of *****e bags cuz you know, he's not as big of a C word as they think he is.

I thought Strange...? It's been forever and a day since I read it. Oh well.

Strange got his hands broken by banner, and supposedly began the bulls**t that resulted in him being stripped of the title of Sorcerer Supreme. Hell, technically, Banner beat the Sentry. Only reason he was captured was because he simply said f**k it.

Looks like I need to re-read WWH. :/

I don't know, something about the Hulk just doesn't appeal to me anymore since Rulk. I will admit that The Hulk is still probably the strongest/scariest out there though.

They must have never got the memo, because they are always running towards him.

I'd say the Punisher becuase if you lose that fight, game's over.

Phoenix or The Sentry.

Everyone seems afraid of The Sentry, including all of the Dark Avengers.

Now that I think of it, Phoenix vs. Sentry, that's a fight to see.

the hero the baddies surely must wet them selvesd when facing are..

wolverine
Thor
moon knight scares the low level bad guys.
also the sentry..but for all the wrong reasons..he is not in full control of himself.marvel should decide and make him the void or the sentry hero or villain and set his mind straight.

I imagine Wolverine still scares some of his lower-tier villains. Or, at the very least, frustrates them. Dude just will not die. That's gotta be annoying.

The Hulk is definitely still carrying the title for king of the scary heroes, though. I remember an issue of Captain Marvel where Genis (before he went crazy) wound up fighting the Hulk. Dude is a cosmic hero, which generally means he deals with higher-power threats in the first place, and he had the Hulk's buddy Rick Jones in his head helping him out, and he was still practically wetting himself. Then the Wendigo showed up and I think he might actually have wet himself.

The Sentry, being bats*** insane, probably scares people too. I'd certainly be scared if the media were calling a vastly powerful guy with known mental conditions a "hero" and giving him free reign to use his own judgment when fighting villains or other heroes. Same goes for Deadpool and all the other crazy sons of b****es in the cape-and-tights set. You never know just what a crazy person's gonna do.

I would say Wolverine - his really hard to kill, has a bad temper is almost unstoppable and his a Killer

Punisher - other superheros will beat you up and get you thrown in Prison. The Punisher is straight up out to kill you.
