Marvel Legends, Selects, Universe- Thread - Part 1

Anyone got news on when Sentry or the Wolverine Legends are likely to drop?

the Wolverine Legends will drop this summer most likely. As for the wave 3 and 4 variants... we have no clue. if they don't drop soon then we will find out why not, at comic con for sure.

it also appears that Rogue and Emma are running changes... which kinda sucks, because i demand both, and hopefully these running changes don't get screwed up.

the running changes worked for the first 2 legends waves... but why they're not working now i do not know

Thanks spideyboy. Yeah it's frustrating that whatever the issue is hasn't been clarified/confirmed and obviously wasn't a problem with waves 1 and 2. I've given up waiting for Moonstar but really want to see Sentry sooner rather than later.

I also want Rogue and Emma - I think the only one I'll pass on is Sabretooth, I'm not a fan of the costume and am happy with the one I have already. Really need Scott and (a better) Emma for my Extinction Team, they need to make a Magik pronto!

im guessing the running changes failed because stores over stocked, and barely ordered any of 3 and 4, thus not ordering more for running changes? not sure.

they're essentially putting out a whole new wave with variants and running changes, so they might as well call it something else. maybe that's confusing the stores?

I want Mark II or Ultimate Beetle, and Mach-whatever-number-he's-on-now. Just in general, I'd like to have the classic Thunderbolts, especially since Toybiz was promising them on the backs of Marvel Legends packaging since Wave 1.

Was Batroc the Leaper ever a Thunderbolt? I've never followed the team but according to marvellegends.net, 2013's 'Wave 4' so far consists of:

Batroc
Blizzard
Moonstone
Songbird

So you may well get a Thunderbolt wave.

Wasn't Luke Cage running the Thunderbolts for a minute recently? I never read it. But I'd love if they could slip modern Cage in that wave, otherwise, that's another wave I will be skipping.

Marvellegends.net is the only place I've seen this one but they're usually pretty reliable.

I'd definitely pick up a Batroc, and hopefully Moonstone would have a Dark Ms Marvel variant which I'd also get. Although I've got a pretty large Legends collection I'm not much of a completist, I only get the figs of teams/characters I'm interested in (such as X-Men, Spidey, classic Avengers, most cool villains etc). Although the new figs have been looking good there hasn't been a wave yet where I've wanted all or nearly all of them - Wolverine Legends is likely to be the first wave since relaunch where I would consider buying all of them.

On a side note I won a (highly priced of course) BAF Ares the other day online. Didn't realise his skin tones are so inconsistent though - the neck/back is a sort of waxy tanned colour whereas the head, shoulders and right arm are pink - then the left arm/hand is yet another pale skin colour! Had a quick look on at some photos online and it looks like that's normal...

Uh-oh.... It doesn't bother me particularly and the one on marvellegends.net has the same weird arm colours. The neck/torso piece is only really noticeable under a light, just curious as to whether that's what they all look like.

mine has no noticeable problems with that... if you need a very bright light to see it... dont worry about it.

USAToday has revealed the 2013 Hasbro Marvel San Diego Comic Con exclusive to be a box set featuring 6" Marvel Legend figures based on Luke Cage's Thunderbolts team. The set includes Judith Chambers, Ghost, Crossbones, Cage and Moonstone. The set will cost $89.99.The figures are based on designs by Thunderbolts comic artist Kev Walker. The packaging is made to look like the Thunderbolts tower. San Diego Comic Con takes place July 17-21.

This is definitely a must buy for me too. That Jetfire is gorgeous, and definitely one of the coolest Snake Eyes to come out in a while. Plus, Baroness with Ravage on a leash....SOLD!
