I haven't seen the Rocket wave in stores yet but they're all over eBay. Minus Bulldozer. :csad:

yeah the rocket wave will indeed have problems with variants, the fix wont come until the Jubilee wave unfortunately

AOA jean is probably canned, but the rest are made, and will eventually get distributed, though might be TRU.

and as far as i know and have read the Rocket Wave hasn't hit retail in the states yet, but those who've placed orders and bought a case have received theirs.

The Wrecker is all over eBay which is cool. I just hope Bulldozer will be easy to get.

I have Scarlet Spider on the way and should be here by Thursday and will probably get the Hawkeye and Panther this week. I just want the variants to come out. That Thunderbolts Punisher is all over eBay as well.

The Variants probably will not be released with this wave. but either a special "variant wave" where we finally get the likes of Blade and RedPool, Iron Fist and Sentry... as well..

or they will all just go as TRU exclusives

Hasbro said something at ComiCon about a problem getting the variants out, but now they think they solved the problem and future variant figures will be released. They said the figures were already made they just needed a way to distribute them.
Walmart has rearranged their Action Figure section with a BUNCH of new spots on pegs for 5.88 like the IM3 4 inchers hoping they show up soon. The GotG set was on sale too!

Yeah, if you're into 4 inch figures, you can pretty much have any figure you want. Definitely jealous of that. I just wish they'd show the 6 inch line some love.

yeah... the 4inch fanbase is dwindling quite rapidly i've noticed. Glad i never hopped that train

The MU group of collectors is indeed dwindling, I have so many friends that are selling off their entire collections. The main thing being, we just don't see them in stores anymore, or if we do, it's Gladiator and Doc Samson. It's been like this for the past year or so, some are finding the new waves, but that's few and far between.

I personally like collecting the line, because of the diverse characters we get in each wave, and most of those get transferred over to Legends. But with only finding the 2 packs and never seeing the 3 packs or single cards, I've been focused on hunting Legends. That doesn't mean I'm giving up, it's just that I can't find the ones I need, and I refuse to order them online. I prefer the hunt and satisfaction of finding them in a store.

Another factor is Hasbro cut loose the main dude from the MU line, and now we get crap like the IM3 line and Assemblers. The articulation is horrid and no real thought was put into new molds, like before. Let's hope that the newer movie lines do give us back the articulation and distribution as promised.

one of the reasons we don't see a lot of NEW 4 inchers is partly because the MU line will be called the AVENGERS line Biz.
I love the smaller line because it usually HAS the female characters like Sif and Black Widow, even tho Sif I STILL haven't found even tho I found an IM2 Mark one and two in a Dollar store for 5 bucks each!

To most of the collectors it was getting worse as time went on.
First they were pretty cool with all sorts of articulation, then with the Avengers Movie line, they really cheapened up!

ive never understood the mentality of "I'm going to stop collecting and sell my collection because i can't find any figs" If they stopped making legends today im not just going to jump ship and sell off my collection. They're awesome figures, and I'm not just in it for the collecting game. I'm in it for the ownership. That and they're ALWAYS available online till the end of time, yes, you may have to pay far more than the retail price... but they're not going anywhere online and you can always save to get what you want.

that really has nothing to do with why people arn't seeing MU figs. Distribution has been sucky for everything hasbro right now... Legends, MU, Star Wars, etc... even the IML wave 2....

the MU to Avengers is just a name change.. nothing more than that

lol in all honesty i always thought 50% of them looked cheap from the beginning... and they've always looked like happy meal toys to me. Figs that small just simply can't have the same range in articulation as a 6inch figure.

hahaha you forget I'm in one of those sucky areas. I have a freind over in Britian and he was saying there are all kinds of Sif figures on the Shelves yet NOTHING here.

Like I said I found just out of the box Im2 figures not more than 2 weeks ago and got mark 1 and 2 for 5 dollars a piece at a Dollar store here.

I loved alot of the Thor figures when they came out, both comic and Movie versions, I just can't stand those one per box figures and ones that aren't even in the movies or comics like that dumbass Deluxe Thor with guns.....WHEN THE HECK HAS THOR USED GUNS?!?

only 50%? You're too kind.

I hate those made up bs figures. Arctic Armor Spider-Man? Underwater Assault Batman? Commando Thor with Machine Guns? Are you kidding me? If it ain't in the comics, I ain't buying.

At least that one makes a little sense, Batman does have scuba suits and stuff.

Allright, Mangle, but you get my drift, right? Those made up neon armor Batman figures? REAL collectors don't waste time with that ****.

I totally agree with you, just because they stopped making the 90's X-Men figures, didn't mean I was going to sell them. I know I would regret giving up any of my hard earned collection. Some day, down the road, I would have a nostalgic kick and want to see them again. I just can't part with MU or ML for that matter.

But that's what some people are doing. :csad:

It may come to the point where I do have to order some online, I have always tried to avoid it, but it may come to that soon. OH well. I won't have holes in my collections lol.

Every now and then, if they're loose or clearance, I'll get crap like that for custum fodder, but since 2000, most of that crap is out of scale, anyway. And yes, Neon Armor Batman is THE WORST "Crap we came up with because kids don't know better" figure ever made.

Comic sans, neon colors, and extra big letters that are underlined, bold and italicized. Wow.

Maybe tone it down a notch, Mangle. :oldrazz:

Comic sans sucks any way. Its not even correct with comics. (learned that in typography class) its one of the biggest "no-no" fonts
