Same. Who cares about eye color? I just want someone who can do the character justice and I worry that Asa won't live up to my expectations.

If he turns out to be amazing in the role I will be happy. But he's got an uphill battle ahead of him.

He's a great, young actor and the only thing that sparks doubt is whether or not he can pull off the quippy nature of Spider-Man, but obviously he'd have to otherwise he wouldn't have gotten chosen.

Feige wants a motormouth, and if Asa is in fact chosen, he certainly has the motormouth..

Oh yeah. I have no question about his acting chops. Certainly one of the best in his generation. It's the motormouth that I'm worried about. I trust Feige, but I will be leery until the first footage surfaces.

Reporters are saying there's still testing this week--means we still have to wait on official word. Is Asa Marvel/Sony's strongest candidate? Who knows.

Well this is more exciting to me than earlier when I thought it was going to be Tom Holland in the role.

Asa is not my number 1 pick for Spiderman but out of the two short listed I would be happier with him as Spidey
