There could be many reasons for this, but I can't help but think that one reason may be that after all of the DOB support he has been giving that he may not want to deal with the cyber backlash when that doesn't come to pass.

I now have to admit at the risk of sounding like a complete butt hole, that I am going to have a small, tiny, piece of regret in my heart when they finally announce who has the Spiderman roll as it dawned on me that personally for me actually reading and trying to keep up with these threads has been nothing short of absolutely fun and hilarious.

Seriously, this reminds me of the old Corona "Coming Attraction" days on the "Star Wars" boards.
