I mean, what a "special surprise" could mean? Last time they said this was for the Civil War trailer. I'd say there's 40% of chance that it's Spider-Man.

again harry if what ever with widow article was spidey related there would be more to it then surprises coming. Again with the marketability of spidey he would have been on cover, would have been mentioned in cover blurb. Again i dont expect much from this ew issue/articles beyond the basics spidey in the movie, he is a kid, and marvel happy to use him now. And tom talking about playing the role. Again as much as i want something more right now. The focus is still for cap/tony/bp right now. The next magazine spread or what not maybe at end of the month/jan will be solely for spidey.

see this is what you have to watch a little bit friend. Yes spidey is very marketable.. but if the focus is on Cap and IronMan.. they will not market him all that much. Even though he's a big pull. The more they market spidey the less they can market the main stars of the film.. and the more expectations people get into their head of spider-man in this film... and if he doesn't end up with alot of screen time.. it's going to misslead the audience quite a bit...

so i really don't expect them to take full advantage of the spidey marketing pull for this film. i personally wouldn't want him to be a magazine cover even. a photo spread in the magazine? sure. but not the cover photo

Exactly. So either Spidey or Baron Zemo.

And Webhead- maybe Marvel didn't want to reveal Spidey on the cover, maybe they wanted him to be a surprise.. You never know, we both don't know. And as Spiderboy said, maybe they wanted the focus to be on Cap, IM, and BP at first.

don't bet on too much. He is not being included in the toy merchandise of Civil War

Nobody knows ... Official trailer & 3 posters presented by Evans and RDJ. That's a proof that we don't know anything. And Marvel is full of surprises.

No, we haven't any confirmation from anyone involved in the movie about anything Spidey-related in this movie.
And regarding this being that they show exactly who is in the movie, I am 100% expecting to have something Spider-Man mentioned.
If he is not even mentioned on this next article, things don't look good for him being more than a cameo. Or him being a complete secret in the movie.

those articles arn't always litteral... they likely wouldn't list minor roles and minor characters...

if they don't list Zemo, Ross, Spidey, vision or ant-man then i wouldn't sweat to much and not take it litteral. we know they're all in it.
