Born Again Marvel Studios’ Daredevil: Born Again General Discussion Thread

So Born Again Season 2 taking place before Thunderbolts* kinda puts it into a small window of June/July. Maybe they address everything that happened in Thunderbolts early on in the season and leave it at that?
That we have only know about Daredevil, Echo and the Kingpin's status during the blip they are likely to just roll forward and ignore how Bob could have affected or will affect anyone in New York.

Prologue was in 2025. 2nd episode was the beginning of the New Year into 2027. There was also an episode that heavily stated it was St. Patrick's Day.....so March 2027. I imagine by the end of Born again we were getting into April/May.

* Small spoilers for Thunderbolts*!

Thunderbolts must have taken place toward the end of 2027 then. Maybe July/August/September? The end credit scene then said 14 months later. Which would be in line with Avengers: Doomsday taking place toward the end of 2028

I'm thinking Thunderbolts is in the fall. There was a few shots of Washington DC at the beginning of the movie that indicated this due to the trees having brown leaves and falling off. Granted this is something that could easily be ignored, but they could have also altered the trees in post if it was an issue. So I'm thinking probably October 2027. Which yeah given the 14 month skip at the end, might potentially put Doomsday around December 2028.

If this is indeed the case I think I think it gives Season 2 potentially 6 month gap to be placed in before the movie does.

Seeing as how Marvel TV Head Brad Winderbaum said that the Netflix shows are canon, it would make zero sense to have Jessica and Matt meet for the first time, so I expect that there will be a reunion of some kind for them both.

Now, the interesting part will be her reaction to Matt aligning himself with Frank Castle.

Worst kept secret ever lol! Very excited

And it SOUNDS like Jessica is actually going to be a recurring player in season 2 as well.

Just a matter of time before Luke and….Danny are announced as well.

Disney is out of the business of keeping fans unspoiled. They are now giving away almost everything in hopes of rebuilding the excitement of fans who left in the post Endgame era.

Well, if she gets a show spun out of this, hopefully the result is better than Jessica Jones Season 2.

I didn't even bother with Season 3.

I feel like having them all back through a Disney+ show is not really an upgrade.

Crossing over in a movie with an actual role, would be THE upgrade. With Disney stating Vision Quest is the last mcu show to feature movie characters. The Netflix gang returning for Disney+ just feels like a retread of the 2010s Marvel Television era, without the baggage from ABC/Hulu/Freeform shows. I cannot muster anticipation for a Disney+ series featuring Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist.

I mean, if she isn't tossing Frank across the room and dragging him to the police station, then the won't understand where her character was after Season 3. Add in non zero chance of Rachael Taylor, yeah, not interested in them screwing up Jess.

Is there something up with the actress? It would seem to be only a matter of Disney putting out the cash when they initially balked on bringing folks like Brett Mahoney back and gave us Cherry to save money on the sidekicks of sidekicks.

Bringing Trish as part of the "army" is again, a failure to understand JJ Season 3.

A vigilante in Hellcat getting clemency and freed post Blip makes as much sense as Mayor Fisk.

I wonder if Jessica will help Angela Del Toro on the latter's path to being White Tiger, assuming that they meet.

Why would Jessica Jones get involved with that? It seems like a role she would actively run from.

Jessica Henwick's Collen Wing on the other hand was a youth instructor. It may have been for The Hand but it does show her heart was in working with kids.

I have no doubt that that more of the Netflix superheroes are gonna return but I'd still be more excited if they announce more of the supporting characters return.

still no Brett, still no Marci, still no Maggie, still just wishful thinking for me
