The point was that having someone else there (a private investigator, no less), might have helped. It's funny how P.I.'s can pick up things that the closest friends often can't.

Yeah, one more person on a team with a dozen members would've certainly made a difference. Never mind the fact that she was actually dating one of her fellow members at the time; a near-stranger would totally be able to notice her subtle slip into insanity.

The Jessica Jones What If? was kinda fun for its inanity, but nothing beyond that.

That first new line of What If?s were a lot like that. They were all pretty much crap. It's why I only bothered to buy the F4 and Thor ones in the following line.

I got all of the first set and all of the second set. I'm a sucker for What Ifs. These, however, are based on storylines that I already don't like, for the most part, so I doubt I'll buy any of them. At most I'll probably read a couple of pages of What If: The Other in the shop and decide whether I want to buy it or not then.

I agree about the Jessica Jones What-If?. It just seemed like Bendis was trying to show how great his charecter was, and the twisted message I kinda thought you could come away with was that if we all loved his creation (Jones) as much as he obviously does, then she would have been popular enough to be on the Avengers Team, and then maybe he wouldn't have had to go and destroy our Avengers. Kinda like, "Oh, see, look what you made me do because you didn't DEMAND that Jessica become an Avenger."

There is a What If? based a bit on the Clone Saga, in which Ben is forced to kill Pete and Ben assumes the identity of Pete.

Yeah, I thought that was actually a pretty good What If. I wouldn't mind a What If Ben Reilly Survived the Clone Saga? myself. I'd love to see how Peter would've developed if he had a "brother" who understood everything he was going through better than anyone else could by his side for the last few years.
