honestly, I liked Cage in the first game.
he had some cool moves, like the repetitive ground smashing.
that was just too cool.

Yeah, he's your basic bruiser but I only chose characters based on my favorites from the comics anyway. I mean it really didn't matter who you chose. There was no strategy involved in the game. Hell, I can probably beat the whole thing with just Elektra.

As for his character in the comics, that's actually what I like about him. I wouldn't even be surprised if they started having him say the N word all the time. I just like that while every other hero is your basic bachelor do gooder this guy's just this regular dude down the street with a family. He doesn't even have a costume. He's just this guy with awesome power. But that's just me. I like the idea of this regular looking guy in the game punching holes in robots.

...I don't get the chain though since I've never seen him use one but whatever works. I hope he has more grabs like Nick Fury in this one. I want to see him snap some robot necks (there's always robots).

I liked going around using that charge punch on people. Especially when it's powered up all the way with that boost that enhances his strength and health. He's pretty much unstoppable, punching people into each other.

I also liked the boost that had all projectiles bouncing off of him. Walking around like he's Superman or something. t: More brutes should have had that boost. Colossus especially. Cap's shield should have had that effect too.

I had a feeling Luke Cage would come back, he's been pretty big in the MU for the past few years, and I'm glad, I liked him a lot in the first game and he's a great Marvel character. I would also expect to see Spiderwoman, Ms. Marvel, and Ghost Rider to return (hoping for Ghost Rider becuase he would complete the New Fantastic Four team bonus with Spidey, Daredevil, and Hulk) The rest are all just really popular Marvel Characters with awesome powers and I think we'll be seeing them again, which would still leave six spots for new characters- not too shabby! Although I have a feeling Deadpool will be back again too, he seems to be a fan favorite, although (don't falme me) I didn't really like him in MUA.

Deadpool certainly kicked more ass in XMLII. But I did like his new Extreme Move in MUA.

I hope they find a way to incorporate Ghostrider's motorcycle this time. Like use it for a flying substitute. I wouldn't mind seeing them bring Heroes for Hire in. Luke Cage's drillbit was the best move in the first game.

Are all characters able to 'Fuse' their powers? That seems really complicated... or will it be more of a ... only certain characters match up deal?

It looks like just a combination of things (all resulting in explosions...). Iron Man shoots a laser, Spider-man webs up opponents, Human Torch flames something, etc. I think everybody has their own animation and then they just put that together and hope it works for the best. The novelty will probably run out pretty quick because of that. Especially since they're replacing extreme attacks.

I noticed that Vicarious is doing the same thing they did for Spider-Man 3. They're focusing on ONE aspect of the game to hype up..and not much else. In SM3, they chose to hype the "Black Suit".

and look how much that sucked. Im very worried about this title
