LOL is it just me or does this game have an OVERWHELMINGLY unbalanced male-female playable character ratio.
I mean of course there are more male superhero's..
But i mean.. Storm and Sue Storm.. who else?

What about spiderwoman? the white queen? phenix? kitty pride? wonderwoman? she hulk?

i hope they squeeze a few of them in there!
most hopefully jean grey! aha

im excited either way.
:pal::lmao:

dude wonder woman is a DC character.
this is marvel were talking about.

Yeah. I'm sure there's more female playable characters coming, but they need to think outside of the box and put people like Colleen Wing and Misty Knight in. Maybe even some of the girls from Young Avengers/Runaways.

I personally want only Ms. Marvel and Spider-Woman back from the females left to go, though I think that only leaves one out, that one being Elektra, and considering how crucial Bendis and Marvel have made them to the Marvel Universe, they are shoe horns in.

But I want Colleen Wing, Misty Knight, Dazzler, She-Hulk, Nico Minoru, Karolina Dean, Molly Hayes, Stature, Pixie, Surge, Hawkeye, Dagger, Firestar. People who they might forget to put in the game that would be awesome given the chance to be playable.
Hawkeye is on 360 & he's pretty good. I hope we see him return.

Shots like that could merely be cinematic angles. Like the kinds of shots you see in demo videos and trailers...

If the actual in-game camera is like that, Then I'd be okay. But there is one thing...

My comments about THIS camera would be: With a camera like this, it would be great to "switch" focus from a camera generally centered to a character-specific center. Like say the camera is set by default to have all characters on screen at once, then clicking the right shoulder button would be able to switch to Player 1. But then if you click again you'd select another hero or heroine and so on so forth.

the article says that the game will be featuring new cinematic sweeping camera angles, so that sounds promising. As long as we're not glued in over the characters head looking straight down, I'll be happy.

I meant female Hawkeye from the Young Avengers.

I'd love to have some Young Avengers this time around. That's why I was hoping for a bigger roster, give us more teams to choice from, and not just the normal, FF, XMen, Avengers..etc.

Or even give me some ThunderBolts. *Sigh* I guess I can wish for it to happen in part 3.:csad:

Green Goblin and Songbird have already been confirmed so you can bet the Thunderbolts will be involved.

Venom is also confirmed, and Penance is in (maybe NPC) so there's a whole Thunderboltsa team right there

When you say "Penance," do you mean "The Whiny B**** Formerly Known as Speedball" or the REAL Penance from Generation X?

I'm just trying to emphasize the fact that she's the only character I acknowledge when someone mentions "Penance." I don't care what the hell her name is now.

Eh, I hope the down time is more fun. Stuff like that is more important to me than the camera. I hope you have larger "safe zone" down-time areas to explore, for instance...Instead of just the one floor of "Stark Tower", you can explore a few levels by taking the elevator and there's more people to talk to with more things to say.

My life would be enhanced if there were Runaways characters in the game... YA's cool too, though...

If they made downtime levels interesting, that'd be even better... I'd love to have conversation with NPCs that didn't seem like a nuisance.. a nuisance with no benefit at that.

And Generation X was the truth.

Yeah like say there's a phone in one of the "Down-time" levels. And each character has a character-specific phone-call to make.

Spider-Man: Calls MJ "I feel like something character breaking and improbable is about to happen." "Oh, Peter, it's not like the devil will appear and try to bribe you for our love. Besides, you wouldn't agree right?...Right?"
Wolverine: Gets a call from Sabretooth who is making a prank call
Luke Cage: Gets a call from Jessica Jones
Captain America: Gets a call from Bucky/winter soldier
Iron Man: Drunk dials Black Widow
Spider-Woman: Calls Arana and threatens to sue...

Something like that would be funny and would entertain comic fans without needing much programming or anything. And it wouldn't have to be done with voice over...text alone would be better because then EVERYONE could have a conversation.

There's a lot of cool stuff they could do to make things fun.

luckily this time around the NPC conversations will affect the outcome of the game, so hopefully they won't feel so forced and uncomfortable

It's funny but I read that they are still working on the game. Does this mean that the programers are adding more things e.g. charecters, voices (I hope so), or plots?

I for one would just like a little more in dialog from the charecters, in the first one they said the same thing a lot.

I'm just glad the lips are supposed to synch up with the voices this time

This will never happen, but you know what would make a cool game?

Well, you know how companies always claim to have alternate storylines and endings and the ability to make choices? It would be insanely cool if you could pick the overall "world" that you play in. Let me explain:

In MUA1, you got alternate costumes. These costumes were usually: Classic, 90's, Modern, Ultimate, and/or movie. So what if those costumes effected the design and overall story of the entire game.

Civil War: Everyone is wearing "Modern" costumes.
Ultimates: Everyone is wearing "Ultimate" costumes.
Secret War: Everyone is wearing "Classic" costumes.
Galactus: Everyone is wearing "1990's/1980's" costumes.

So the game would be essentially 4 different games(well storylines) in one. And if you mix and match then you'd get a 5th storyline that is not directly based on the comics.

There you go, Developers, infinite replay value that would make fans of any point in Marvel comics happy.

There's many possibilities that developers have with game concepts. I know I have a lot of ideas, I just wish game developers would sit and think about what would be best for us and fun.

(When I say developers I mean the people who keep getting their hands on comic book liscences)

BUMP!

I hope Activision doesn't drop the ball on the marketing for this game. We need some more news ASAP. New trailer, more confirmed characters, gameplay. Anything!

As I previously said before, if Spider-Man: Web of Shadows is ANY indication about Activision's marketing, M:UA 2 will be the same.

The least they can do is give us a Cinematic like they did with the Helicarrier MUA

Activision used to be good but they suck now. Im wishing they didnt have the Marvel liscense

I think Activision has been doing better with the Marvel license than any other publisher has done with any other superhero license since the 16-bit era. The only other company who did a good job with Marvel was Capcom, and that was just a series of fighting games (granted, they were MUCH better than Activision's Mutant Academy games).
