he was so popular from the first game, it seems like a lock to me
especially if the rumors are true and Cable is an unlockable

If the characters from the first game all come back with Iron Fist, Hank Pym, Namor, Nova, and Hercules, I'd be happy.

:csad: Not only is this the reaction I have to your post its also gonna be my reaction when I get MUA 2 an find out Punisher didn't make the cut
 
Nah, I bet he'll make it. He just had a movie, and now he's got like 3 comics coming out. I don't really like him, but he is popular.

I'll keep hoping but I'm sure something will come up like the last game. I remember there was something were you could vote for who you wanted as downloadable characters and The top vote getter was Punisher followed by Hulk, Cyclops, and Nightcrawler. Obviously Punisher didn't make the cut for w/e reason
 
I for one am hoping that the delay is due to the creators making more characters to ADD to the game. From what we have all seen so far the roster seems to be very limited. So my guess is more characters, villians, and environments (e.g. Olympus, Skrull world, and some war planet)


It would be really cool if they let some DC characters in. Whatever the hold up I hope it's worth it.
 
I'm sure the roster will at least match the first game's, which was pretty big.

As for DC characters, I think the hold-up would be forever. It's hard enough getting the characters to cross over in the comics, let alone other media, where you've got tons of licensing deals with studios and all kinds of other red tape.
 
Well, it's as I said before...
As long as Deadpool is in the game, I'm happy.
 
I bet they're trying to figure out a new gimmick besides the fusion thing cuz honestly...that by itself cannot hold the game and our entertainment.

We need more things. A way for multiplayer to not be so boring. That would mean more maps maybe some unique to online play and definite DLC.

For instance, a custom multiplayer thing would be awesome. Like you could pick the map and decide which villains, no matter how many, appear there and have a big overloaded fight between your team and the bosses.

I like the multiplayer idea alot and hope something like that does come about.

I still don't understand whats so huge about the fusion concept. Didn't we do the same thing fusion attack wise on the 1st MUA where 2 heros combined powers did more damage?
 
Apparently it wasn't as visually spectacular as it could've been.

And what we need is the return of the Danger Room/brawl modes from the x-men legends games. I had more fun with that than the main story.

The game doesnt need a gimmick. IMO, thats whats going to ruin MuA 2 if anything. All we needed was better storytelling and gameplay but instead they decided to focus too much on developing a feature which doesnt even seem all that appealing
 
I wish they continued the storyline from MuA....Heroes fighting each other is meh...fighting Galactus...it is the stuff that final boss battles are made of.
 
As far as I'm concerned, all MUA2 needs is some more characters, a good story, and online co-op. That'd be enough for me.

that made no sense. In XML2, it asked you what you wanted it to do the first time you leveled up or picked something up so you were warned, but for some reason they felt the need to force it on you without you knowing in MuA

If not for the ability to go back and remove all except the first point in any given power, I'd have been pissed.
 
Yeah, they were clearly pandering to the casual market with that. I get why they'd include an auto-level feature--there are, in fact, plenty of people who like the X-Men Legends/MUA games as pure action games, so they don't want to see all the RPG stuff--but don't auto-enable it and pretend the options aren't even there. Give the RPG'ers a heads-up, for crying out loud.
 
my biggest issue with MuA was that they dumbed down the levelling system. I hope they bring back the XML2 version and expand upon it but Im sure they will instead have a simplified version of the MuA one
