I didn't like the character at all just a few years ago, but she's kinda grown on me. I hope most of the New/Mighty Avengers make it. They should be the basis for the game's roster anyway, with the Fantastic Four, a couple of X-Men and others thrown in for good measure.

She was actually surprisingly great in MUA, though. I'm ashamed to admit that I had her on my team for about 75% of the game.

But I at least had her in her awesome, cosmic-ish Binary costume. I also used the Sharon Ventura costume a fair bit to try and convince myself I wasn't really using Carol.

I prefered her current costume. And the hovering was a nice touch.

Given that she's arguably Marvel's most important female character right now, and her role at Stark's side during the Civil War, and the relative uniqueness of her powerset in-game, we're pretty much guaranteed to get her again. So long as the melee/super strenght side of her is improved... Other characters I most definitely would like to see make the cut are Namor (pleeease!), Punisher and Cyclops.

I hope they remember to give Spider-Woman "might" this time. She's supposed to have super-strength, but the moment I walked up to a heavy object, she said "I can't lift that."

I liked how Might was implemented in degrees in XML2. For instance, Wolverine could be assigned up to two points of that passive skill, while Juggernaut and Colossus could be assigned three. The developers really should look into what made the X-Men Legends games work so well, instead of over-simplifying it like in MUA.

I thought Ms. Marvel was one of the funnest characters to play as. I tended to use her alot

The Invisible Woman is and always will be the most important woman at Marvel, as far as I'm concerned. She-Hulk's up there, too.

Ms. Marvel's a useless broad who got a lucky break from a psycho putting the universe back together wrong.

I'm a fan of the classics, trust me (I'd say Storm is overall one of the biggest leading women for the company, possibly alongside Invisible Woman), but Miss Marvel is just too big of a name right now.

Things will inevitably change, though.

I just watched the trailer again and I wish we could trade in the fusion gimmick for polished powersets and heavily distinguished characters, instead of the clone-fest we're likely to get again.

She's arguably the most prominent female in Marvel. She's the female face of the company much like Wonder Woman is for DC, or at least thats what Marvel has been pushing and has been wanting for the past several years. Personally I think its her name which is one of the main reasons for this. They had her in New Avengers, gave her, her own series, made her leader of the Mighty Avengers, not to mention had her front and center in all the big crossover events and numerous guest appearances. I like the character but it does seem as if she's only really been important and relevant in the past 5 years than in her 40 or so year history. She's not going anywhere anytime soon.

I always did like the idea of making Wasp and Giant Man a team kind of character or at least use Wasp for certain attacks. The two swarming an opponent stinging him or sling shot attacks where Giant Man would grow as he's soaring through the air. Things like that.

I think this would be very cool, especially if they did it for Cloak and Dagger too.

She's only been important in the last few years because of House of M. She was elevated to national hero status in the slightly different new reality the Scarlet Witch made when she set everything back to normal. Before that, she was a disgraced f***-up with alcoholism who got booted off the Avengers not too long ago.

Spider-Woman was my woman of choice in this game. I think she'll be a popular character in the comics in the upcoming months.

I hated her while the Skrull queen was pretending to be her. Now that the real Spider-Woman is back, I'm tempted to see what her upcoming solo title is about. Maybe I'll download it.
